    CONSUMER BEWARE: | AVOID MIDAS OF NANUET!
    It’s with deep regret that I write this review of Midas of Nanuet. My experience here has been frustrating, disappointing, and sadly, marked by a lack of professionalism and integrity.
    In 2022, I brought my 72-year-old loved one here to replace a car battery. We paid $515 for the new battery, but the very next day, it failed. Around that same time, my loved one became seriously ill, and we embarked on an unexpected journey through cancer treatments. Amidst this overwhelming period, I contacted Midas to report the faulty battery. I was reassured by their representative that the battery came with a three-year warranty.
    Fast forward to May of this year. Life had calmed down enough for me to address the issue. When I brought the car back to Midas, they once again assured me of the three-year warranty. However, the manager told me that the problem was with the auxiliary battery, not the main one, and insisted I replace that first before they could work on the main battery.
    Following this advice, I took the car to ********, where they confirmed that the issue was indeed with the main battery. I paid $607 out of pocket to replace it, and after that, there were no further issues. So, I returned to Midas to seek compensation for the battery I’d paid for there.
    After multiple trips back to Midas and ongoing delays, I was finally told by one of the managers, that the battery actually had only a 24-month warranty—not the three years I was repeatedly promised. He assured me he’d call to see if anything could be done, but to date, I’ve received nothing but the runaround.
    I strongly urge anyone considering this Midas location to take their business elsewhere. In my experience, the service here reflects a willingness to take advantage of hard-working people and a disturbing disregard for basic respect.

    I went to get an AC recharge and was told after they recharged ac that it was still blowing hot air.. I was told they needed to check for the issue underneath the jeep to check evaporator box… I told staff member how much that would cost me and he said he could t tell me until they checked for the problem. I said ok I go home and they call me saying it would cost me over $3500 to replace evaporator box, I told them at the moment I can’t afford it. I go pick up my jeep thinking I was only gonna get charged for the AC Refill and was hit with a bill for over $555 for them checking evaporator box. I will never go there or to any Midas shop again
