    I hired LetterDash to draft and send a legal demand letter. The experience was unprofessional, manipulative, and ultimately felt like a scam.The letter I received was generic, poorly written, and clearly not tailored to my situation. The attorney did not review my evidence or engage meaningfully. I ended up rewriting most of it myselfdespite paying $453 for professional legal assistance.After the letter was sent, the recipient contacted me to confirm its legitimacy. LetterDash refused to verify it unless I paid an additional $75. I was also told ** have to pay more for a basic follow-up responseservices I reasonably believed would be included in what I already paid.When I expressed confusion and frustration, I was treated with disrespect and hostility by their support staff. They contradicted themselves, escalated the situation, and ultimately blamed me for not understanding a process they never clearly explained. I have screenshots showing their tone, threats, and gaslighting.When I mentioned leaving a review, they immediately threatened legal action. They cited a $2,500 chargeback fee and non-disparagement clauses that are unenforceable under federal law. Their behavior was coercive and designed to intimidate.I later reached out to the attorney involvedonly because LetterDash refused to send a clarification response without charging me more. She never replied, which only further highlights the lack of support and accountability.This company misrepresents what it offers, exploits legal jargon to scare customers, and fails to provide the services it promises. I am requesting a full refund of $453, and for this complaint to be added to their public record so others are warned.

    I submitted a request for an urgent letter regarding slander, that would enable me to be with my mother, who was dying. Because her nursing home was so vindictive, I didn't dare go back without some sort of legal letter warning them that I intended to *** them for the slander, and that retaliation wouldn't be tolerated when I went to visit my mother again. Letter Dash completely ignored my letter. I sent a letter to support the next day when I didn't see it show up in my profile, and for weeks, I called, left messages, and resubmitted that letter over and over again. They didn't even bother to tell me if they were declining to write it, they just ignored me. I finally got an email a couple of days ago (2 months later), telling me I had to submit my request with details. My request could not have been more detailed! It was as if whoever emailed me didn't bother to check to see if I'd submitted anything. My mother was dying and that was hard. I was slandered and threatened on her deathbed by the nursing home Director, and I have audiotape to prove my innocence, and her guilt. I didn't get to return to see my mother after that, because I didn't feel safe, given their vindictive nature. Letter Dash took that from me. They're horrible company.

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by LetterDash regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    July 15, 2024

    On Jun 23, 2024, I emailed LetterDash and informed them not to make any further contact with me unless they had solid evidence that I had said anything inaccurate in my review and/or BBB complaint.

    LetterDash, after already threatening legal action for filing my complaint (and posting a review of them online), ignored my request and sent me a threatening email (see attached) regarding legal action -again-, whilst continuing to ignore my requests for evidence of any inaccuracies or misstatements regarding my experience.

    Issue remains unresolved, and LetterDash by ignoring my request for no further contact, made me feel harassed, bullied and intimidated.  I am reporting them to authorities as well.
