              I stayed at the Tiki Resort on Sept. 8th, 9th & 10th in 2022. Total charges were $ 995.67 & not worth it. It was a special weekend and I had to pay a premium price for the room I stayed in with my son. ( Room 203 ) First, the restaurant and lounge was closed ( not due to Covid ) so we had to go elsewhere to have dinner. Second, and most important, careless and irresponsible is the room had NO SMOKE OR FIRE ALARMS. I am somewhat handicapped and this could have been a very dangerous situation if something had happened. My son had discovered this problem the morning we left and he even took a picture of where the alarm had been removed. I sent a letter to the resort about 5 to 6 weeks ago and have had no response. I feel a refund is due to me.
