Complaint Regarding Illegal Debt Collection Practices by Orion Capital Solutions, LLC I am filing this complaint against Orion Capital Solutions, LLC for engaging in illegal debt collection practices. This company contacted me under the pretense of attempting to locate a relative, but in doing so, they unlawfully suggested the existence of a debt that I do not owe. According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), specifically Section 1692c(b), debt collectors are prohibited from discussing a debt with third parties unless they have specific consent. Even implying or insinuating the existence of a debt when no such debt exists constitutes a violation of consumer protection laws. By making these contact attempts and suggesting that there is a debt to collect, they have violated my rights under the FDCPA.Furthermore, I am on the National Do Not Call Registry, which makes their actions even more egregious. Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), debt collectors are prohibited from contacting individuals who are registered on this list. Despite this, Orion Capital Solutions, LLC persistently contacted me, violating both federal regulations and my privacy. Their actions not only suggest a false and non-existent debt, but they also unlawfully intrude upon my personal space, in clear violation of my rights.I request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Orion Capital Solutions, LLC for these unlawful and harassing practices. Their attempts to create the illusion of a debt and their disregard for federal regulations are deeply troubling, and I demand that they cease all further contact.

Payment was agreed to be subtracted on 8/15/2025. Payment was withdrawn from debit card on 8/5/2025. There is an email I received stating the dates of withdrawal. This did not follow the correct timeline and caused me to have less funds in my bank account than I was counting on today.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Cancelling of the payment arrangement puts me at risk personally. I contacted your office directly on Friday the 5th. It took numerous attempts to speak to someone even though I began calling at 9 am when you open for business to report the charge that was put on my account 10 days too early. I spoke with Haley H****. She said it was reversed and it was up to my bank to refund the funds. I had the charge still in my account until this morning, September 8th. It was a charge on a visa card, so a simple refund rather than a reversal would have been the correct answer. That would have placed my funds back into my account immediately. When I asked why the charge was done 10 days early, she stated she wasn't sure, just an error and that they would complete the next payments on the 15th. She did not state that my arrangement would be cancelled. Now I will need to contact your offices again and reinstate the payment arrangement. Cancellation of an agreed upon contract that the office made errors on, I called the Orion office on for resolve, and reported to the BBB on when it wasn't done properly, seems quite retaliatory in nature.

Over the past 2–3 weeks, Orion Capitol Solutions has engaged in repeated and unlawful collection practices:
Harassing calls daily from multiple phone numbers
Failure to identify themselves or validate any alleged debt
Contacting third parties, such as my wife, and including minors under 18
Calling my workplace line, which is not permitted under debt collection laws
Pattern of misconduct — this company has already faced multiple lawsuits for false debt collection and improper practices
These actions are illegal on multiple counts and must stop immediately.
All voicemails on the multiple phone lines have been saved to submit for verification or to the local courts, if we choose that route.

I received a voice mail from this company and she said on the vm that they had been trying to reach me or my husband and we have never received any correspondence or phone calls prior to today. Plus they called several of my family members who have no idea what this is about. I looked up the "charge" and it's with a bank that we have never used in NY (we live in Ohio) and have never owed anyone the absurd amount of money they are trying to scam from us.

I have been getting phone calls from different area.codes and numbers from which if it’s not a number I know I won’t answer or send to voicemail. No voicemail has ever been left. One day after multiple calls I picked up the person just started asking questions before identifying themselves even when asked… that’s when I ended called. They then called my son who called me… I then called them back and said I would address the issue with them the following week as I was on a mission trip.. the agent on the line kept saying this needs to be taken care of today and kept pushing and pushing the issue EVEN after I said we will discuss when I get back from my mission trip he was relentless so I hung up again. They said they sent an email to my husband we checked ALL email boxes and nothing from Orion. Any debit communications need to be sent to us via mail… email is too unreliable and if it goes to junk and looks to be spam I don’t open it. All communication with my family members is too stop. Contact me and my husband by mail with proof of debit and legal rights to it.

This company attempted to contact with me regarding 2 debt accounts. The people whom I spoke to were extremely rude, disrespectful, and outrageously cruel. How a company can claim they are respectful when they insulted me over and over, calling me a liar numerous times, and unwilling at all to try to work with me. I received a phone call today from an area code local to me: ###-###-#### only it wasn’t someone from my area. Per the voicemail is was someone named Kaitlyn J***** who was calling me for my location. The phone number left in the voicemail was: ###-###-####. She did not state where she was calling from and I had to look it up. The call was from Orion Capital Solutions according to google. I have never heard of these people nor have I received anything in the mail stating I have a debt with them. They are also contacting my family members and that’s embarrassing.

On July 3, 2025, calls were placed to the consumer in an effort to obtain location information. We understand the consumer's concerns regarding third-party contacts and voicemail content. The account has been notated accordingly, and we have ceased all third-party contact efforts.
In response to this complaint, we have requested the validation of debt and supporting documents from our client and will mail them to the consumer upon receipt.

Ken S******* and this “business” have been RELENTLESS in contacting numerous people associated with me in order to collect information. These individuals contacted are phone numbers collected via unauthorized and illegal practices . These numbers were acquired ILLEGALLY and are beyond harassment to the individuals contacted. I have never been sent any notice via mail or email. If this company does not stop its predatory practices., I will be taking legal action!
