1 starSELLING TILES THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE IN STOCK AND CAN'T GET>We ordered tiles for our shower and it took several times before we received enough that were not broken to finish the job, holding the job up over a month. The final time, someone took the time to carefully pack them, and we received enough to finish the job.I was unfortunate enough to purchase tile for a surround for a fireplace. They shipped the wrong items for two of the pieces (the wrong color - although the packing slip said it was the correct color). They failed to include one of the pieces of another tile set completely. After four emails, I found out that they could ship out the correct color of the one tile, but they were out of stock for the other (which I am sure is why they never sent it in the first place).The project ruined, I asked to return the tile. The project can't be completed without ALL of the tiles. The graciously (insert sarcasm here) offered to waive the 15% restocking fee, but will require me to pay to return the tile. So I have to pay over $500 for a small amount of tile which we can't use, or pay to ship back what we can't use because they didn't ship what we originally ordered in the 1st place. Do yourself a favor - go literally ANYWHERE else.TileBar LLC

1 starOrdered March 3 and was told 14 day delivery. March 26 and I just called and they said my order would be processing still for another 10 days!!! They said they have staffing issues. This is completely unacceptable!! You are holding up my entire project. Do not order from TileBar if you actually want your itemsTileBar LLC

1 starOrdered a sample of Montauk Sand Dune, received a sample that I loved so I went ahead and placed a full order. When it arrived, the boxes said "Mallorca Cream" on it. The Mallorca Cream was similar to the sample, but SOOO shiny/metallic and not the same finish. I went back and forth with customer service, sent photos, etc. **************** told me it's the same & tiles have a natural variance to them due to the temperatures they're baked at (interesting considering all 3 boxes that I ordered looked exactly the same & all 3 were different from the sample). I was told if I wanted to return and get a refund, I would have to pay for my own shipping ($150). I would NOT recommend ordering from here, or any tile place that doesn't have a physical store. Now I'm stuck with $400 worth of tile that I won't be using AND have to go buy new tile.TileBar LLC

2 starsInitially, my experience with ******* was positive. I ordered samples and they arrived in a timely manner for a fair price. When I called to ask some questions about a particular tile the agent offered to send more samples and did so free of charge. The issue I have with ******* is when I did order my tile, there was misleading information about shipping on the website about processing versus shipping. I paid an extra $200 to expedite having my order prepared for shipping. That means instead of taking up to 5 business days for the order to be shipped, it would be maybe 2 days, "maybe" being the misleading information. On the website, it says 1-2 days, period, but the agent who took my order said it might be longer. I paid because I needed the tile ASAP. What I didn't know, is that the tile would be sent to a freight carrier, not to my home, and that the carrier, T-Force in my case, would call me, not the other way around, to schedule the delivery. It took them 2 days to call me. The time from ordering the tile to actual delivery is more than 10 days. On the one hand, this is indicated on the website but on the other hand, it's not clearly indicated and some explanation of "freight" versus "standard carrier" shipment would be quite helpful to manage expectations. T-Force needs it's own review as a business. The communication with them was very frustrating - no indication of which department to select when they left a voicemail to call back and schedule the delivery. I had to select by process of elimination and it felt Kafkaesque.TileBar LLC

1 starBeware! I ordered a black tile and was delivered a light grey. Come to find out that the sample that they sent me was mislabeled the wrong color. I sent pictures and they tried to tell me that it was the right tile from a different dye lot when their website clearly shows both the grey and the black. I attempted to arrange an exchange and they told me that I was responsible for paying for the shipping of the 550lbs of tile plus a 15% re-stocking fee for their mistake. I attempted 4 more times to resolve the issue and they won't respond.TileBar LLC

1 starThis company is horrendous! I placed two orders with a guaranteed second day delivery. The first shipment did arrive on time but the edging we ordered in the delivery was bent. The second shipment is now 5 days past the guaranteed two day shipping window and they literally could not offer ** anything. The supervisor was completely unhelpful and basically said they did their part and its on *** even though they literally up-charge you for this "guaranteed 2 delivery". They do not stand by their word, offer terrible customer service, and are downright unhelpful. I would not recommend this company unless you are willing to deal with incompetence and feel completely frustrated.TileBar LLC

1 starMy views are as follows: store layout is excellent. **************** *****. Sales people are knowledgeable. But after doing the transaction, they just drop the ball and disappear engaging the customer in the chase between head office team and head office will say it is sales person.I recently purchased brand named ********** from them, all of them were discolored and not at all similar to the sample shown. Return has become a nightmare. Even though I had sent pictures to them, just getting into delayed tactics.My advice, just go take a look at the show room but do not buy from them. Lot of same files are kept by many many stores with different name but source is all same. Just take picture of what u lije from them and shop somewhere else. Smaller shops return of exchange is super fast.TileBar LLC

1 starI ordered a box of 3 X 6 blackout Nero HONED tile because I needed three more tile to finish up my bathroom shower. It did not match my existing, brand new tile from **** *****. I called and they insisted I was mistaken. I then proceeded to order the exact same honed tile from The Builder Depot and it matched the **** ***** tile exactly. I am fully confident that the Tile Depot sent me polished instead of honed tile. I have called multiple times and they insist I am wrong. I told them that I would be happy to ship back the full box of tile if they sent me honed instead. They refused. It’s a shame that The Tile Bar is not honest.TileBar LLC
