I feel like people that rate legacy US companies most negatively should try another country first or maybe even go live there. Perhaps they could try starting a business here and see how long it lasts. I have a lot of respect for companies that endure.

I purchased RCA Hearing Aids and returned them within the time frame for a refund. The total cost of my purchase was $347.73. I received a refund of $47.74. After numerous emails, I was told that the only thing they received back was the charging case. Why would I return the charging case without the hearing aids? The hearing aids would be useless to me without the charging case. After numerous emails and phone calls, I have given up and accepted that I have lost $300.00. So my advice is to try some way to make sure you can prove you returned everything (I don't know how you can do this).

Hello, I checked with our returns ***** They have mentioned that they did not receive the individual hearing aids back. They open and inventory everything in each package they receive and everything minus the 2 hearing aids were in there. We would be glad to refund you all your money if you find the 2 remaining parts.

Pioneer Elite UDP-************* BD Player: Dearth of Service Centers and Replacement Parts Shortages I am among the otherwise happy owners of this excellent BD player with unique features and high A/V performance. ************************************************************************* So far, my player's been in no need of service, but that will eventually change, as it has for many at owner's threads like these.******************************************************************************** *************************************************************************************************** They have complained that not only are Elite BD player service centers few and far between but replacement parts shortages have caused repair delays for up to 20 weeks. The min/max parts availability window for consumer electronics products priced ~ $1K has long been seven to ten years. So if Sharp or other vendors are indeed supplying parts- as Voxx International, ********************** 11 **************** et al, have claimed ************************************************************************************************************ then consumers shouldn't been waiting this long to have their LX500/800 players serviced, assuming they were able to ever get them serviced, due to this situation. Voxx International should have looked into this matter long ago and made sure that supply chains from Sharp and/or other vendors were indeed making all critical replacement parts for Pioneer Elite LX500/800 BD player parts.

Today all I received was a totally anonymous reply, allegedly from Premium Audio or Voxx, via BBB email:"Hi **********************, i understand the frustration. and like many other companies, we are seeing the supply chain getting better every day. i promise to follow up with you via email to see if and when we can oblige. thank you and have a great day." This is hardly a satisfactory reply. A/V electronics is a passion I put serious time and money into, and for at least the last six months none of the vendors I've used or considered using have experienced anything like the supply chain issues which Pioneer BD player owners have faced from Voxx's Premium Audio/11 **************** Like ******* and Arcam, Voxx chose to phase out its BD player line. But it strongly appears that they would also prefer would also prefer to set aside any prior intentions of supplying Pioneer BD player replacement parts, via Sharp Electronics and/or other vendors. Instead, dozens of frustrated LX500/LX800 player owners who've posted at the above threads speak volumes of how shameful product support has been from Voxx for these very expensive and otherwise superbly engineered players-which were likely created by the same engineers who design Pioneer's ultra performance TAD series of home and pro audio hardware. ********************************************** Contrast Pionner's TAD products with Voxx's middling A/V product line ********************************** -one of which was is now bankrupt Onkyo and from where Voxx acquired the Pioneer A/V products line-and it's hardly surprising that there would be next to no support for Pioneer BD player owners. Had Onkyo sold it's Pioneer Elite player line to Sounds United or ****** International it's unlikely this review would ever have been made.
