The way I was spoken to was very unprofessional and I wanted to take the time to file a complain directly. Upon answering the call Henry R*** appeared to be occupied with his food (he was chewing in my ear). He never expressed any payment options and continued to speak over me. I let it be known that my information was given to my mother whom is not on my account and Mr R*** said “it’s an excuse not to pay my account. I will notate this as a refusal to pay”. When I expressed that I was not refusing to pay, but complaining about my privacy rights as a consumer to not give out my account to any individual other than me. He proceeded to remind me he was notating it as a refusal to pay and then hung up on me. They then started to txt several other family/friends harassing text so I called several times and was pushed to his voicemail. Finally I called back the 6th time and was directed to another gentleman who was very professional and was able to set up my payment arrangements. Mr R*** was not helpful and the whole company as a whole needs to be sued.Initial Complaint

Despite multiple phone calls instructing DSR to stop contacting me and to use only my personal cell phone for any communication, the company has continued to contact my family members regarding an account that does not belong to me. I have no involvement with this account, and their repeated outreach to third parties is both inappropriate and distressing.
I am not the account holder, and I have explicitly stated this. DSR’s actions violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), which prohibits debt collectors from communicating with third parties without proper authorization. I have made it clear that all contact must cease, yet the calls continue.
At this point, I am demanding that DSR immediately stop all contact with me and any individual associated with me. No further communication of any kind is authorized. If this behavior continues, I will consider taking further legal action and filing complaints with the appropriate regulatory agencies.Business Response

This company constantly contacts my family, even after I have called repeatedly instructing them not to do so and that my cell phone is the only way to reach me. This serves as a formal request for DSR to immediately cease all communication with my family members or any other individual associated with me. Continues to contact personal friends And families after I have them not to my family is getting mad at. Me and will not talk to me know due to they illegally looked. Up their phone numbers also I'm on disability and only have one income and can not make enough even for groceries and I go to food banks but also I'm unable to keep my natural gas and electric it is always getting. I just received a text message from this company that I have not had any business dealings with. They call from various numbers including my job..they call but doesn't say anything so i can tell them to not call anyone associated with me...especially my job and elderly father that has dementia. This company continues to call me, presumably regarding debt related to a family member after reading the other reviews here. Each time I select the option to speak with someone to request that they cease harassing me I typically get hung up on. I contacted them once again on 6/23/25 and requested any number associated with this account be removed AGAIN, and to NOT contact my underage children's phones or anyone else. I was told they would continue to collect and would not remove my information, then hung up the phone.
