              We hired Carlton Matthews Roofing and Siding to install a new roof on our home. The roofing work was performed on June 17th and 18th. After the roofers left we discovered that the roofers, in their haste to complete the job, covered a section of our heat tape (the heating cables that prevent ice dams from forming in gutters and roof edges in the winter) with ice shield and nailed down with shingles, rendering the entire heat tape run useless (and dangerous if used). We immediately called the owner, Carlton Matthews, to let him know and expressed our concerns. He said he would come out and fix the problem the following week, AND bring with him the warranty and receipt paperwork that we were supposed to receive upon completion of the roof. That was the last time we were able to speak with him in person, and he has since ignored our phone calls, messages, and text messages. We have attempted to call him multiple times each week since June and left messages with no response.

              we had a new roof put on our home 10-6-22. Recently noticed a couple of shingles lifting up (mid November). My husband has spoken to Carlton twice and been assured he would come by to check it out.....NO CARLTON!! Calls now going to voice mail. Considering it has not even been 2 months since we had roof done I would expect SOME FOLLOW THROUGH????!!!! I had been recommending him for business but will not be doing so until we get resolution.
