    My car needed a replacement engine we contact ************************* on October 7, 2022 and paid him using venmo the amount of $2000 for work to begin on my car on October 7th. Since The seventh of October my car sat on the street and never repaired. Meanwhile, each time either myself or my husband contacted *******, he assured us the work was being done. Several times he mentioned they ran into a problem and had to order new parts and asked for more money (which we did not give). Fast forward to November ******* let us know the car was ready and when we would try to arrange a time to meet he would say they encountered a new problem and the car was not ready. Finally, yesterday January 11th I drove down to ******** to pick up my car regardless of the status of the repair. Finding th shop was complicated because he gave me two addresses of where the car might be located. Finally, I found it **************** parked on the street covered in dust and debris and a flat tire and no battery. I had to call AAA and I also called the police. Which they referred mee to a DA's office. The garage was closed when I got there, and the people in the store next door (a kitchen and bath store) said my car was parked for several months there never being touched. We would like a full refund of the $2,000 we paid. Please help us. Thank you so much.
