    - work dates 1/16/2024 to 2/2/2024 - work is a complete renovation of my one-and-a-half bathroom from A-Z - dispute is for, I paid for work that was not completed and was poorly done, creating more damage than renovation -the company was asked to complete the work and fix the damage on a day that I was home (2/6/24) so I inspect and check the work before the remaining payment could be made. they refused and insisted on another day (2/5/24) I was not home. With that, the amount of damage, I severed my ties with the company. When the work started, the first 2 days went OK, then I realized the following: - Coming in the morning the work is done by an unlicensed subcontractor.- On his website, he posted fake pictures.- he was never around to do any work on the project that he was hired to do.- I asked him to place a shut-off valve in the bathroom, leaving a big hole in the wall for rats and insects.- I requested a daily plan and update on a place I still live. I was screamed at in an intimidating way, "What do you want from me?" and that the update is given biweekly ?? my project was given an estimate of 2 weeks!!- while the work is allowed in the building from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, he worked fewer days and fewer hours.- destroyed my wood floor.- when I requested an update I was threatened that he would come and take his tools.- like a stalker calling me non-stop despite terminating the work with him.- his plumbing work is poor with water leaking from the pipes and not reaching the faucets.- paints on the tiles, and a mess left for me to clean.-things started yet never completed.- demanding to get paid immediately in the middle of the day, while I am at work and acting like a child. - To be honest, I feel physically threatened by him being in my home.

I was hired to do this work for 3 weeks and that is what I told *****.  Before I even started the contract she was suppose to order all the needed materials. Her order was delayed and I helped her and drove her to the showrooms to pick up the tiles and after she ordered it I went myself with my van to pick up her tiles. Just to do her a favor. This was not part of the contract and I did not charge her for the drive or the pick up of the tiles. To add to this same thing happened with the bathtub I had to go and pick up the bathtub and  again did not charge her for my time , gas or work to pick up any of these things. And in top of spending ,my own time, car and gas it added to the timeline of the work that was postponed due to all these materials not being at the work site on time9 which was her job to do). As per our contract we were supposed to start January 15th which was a holiday so we started January  16th. 2 days we did demolition. January 16th and 17th we did demo master bathroom. On January 17th she send me a text at 8:44pm that we can not work on the next day ( see picture of the text). After I had scheduled with all my employees  and to shut off the water for  plumbing work she canceled the work day for the 18th of January. January 19th we went back to work. She added extra work to the work order waterproofing for the Master bathroom, add new outlet,Replace old outlet and switch.. All this added work added to the finished date of the project.  After working only 19,22,23 and 24 she texted me questioning why not everything is done. It is humanly impossible to be done a bathroom in 4 days of work if you want the work to be done right and professionally. After I received a text on the 24th from her I felt very pressured and unprofessional in her part and I did text her back saying that I will pick up my tools if you keep pressuring me to finish the work on a unrealistic time frame. By January 26th the Master Bathroom was finished it just needed a wiping of the tile after the ground was dry, because you should not wash the tiled before the grout is fully dry and that is why the tiles look dirty on the pictures she posted. And the punch list needed to be finished which in construction is a normal part of the work. At this point we Need to add an access door that is required from the building to be added in there( which she is referring to as the hole. To finish that we had to wait for her to order the door to fix it.
Then On January  29th we started the demolition of the powder room/Laundry room. We did demo and started tiling Laundry room first. Finished  the tiling and painting so the machines can go back so we can free space to continue with the powder room. Then we started on the powder room and started the tiling on January 31st and we worked the 31st , February 1 and February 2nd and finished tiles, grout and painting on the powder room. So at this point all it was left to do was the next work day to install new p trap( which she had to order it). ON February 2nd in the morning I went ********** at 9:20 and waited until 10:48 to pick up the toilet which she was supposed to bring herself. Instead of me working to finish the project I was running errands for her and picking up Materials yet again which she was supposed to bring  too her apartment herself as part of the contract. I was just doing her a favor. As they say no good dead goes unpunished. After we texted back and forth on February 2nd ( see pictures of the texts)  I asked her to call me when she got home and never heard from her. Then On February 2nd I tried to call her to explain to her what was done and what needed to be done so she can order the right part. And everything was supposed to be done on February 5th which was supposed to pay me for the rest of the payment. And she still did not pay me for the change order of her added requested which I mentioned above. Friday after trying to call her a few times never picked up the phone. On February 3rd I received a text saying that we can not go and do the work because she was not home on February 5th. Which was a day yet again I had scheduled my employees to to the work on a day we agreed on. And then as you can see the texted she asked for 2 cans of paint which I never took! She asked to finish the medicine cabinet as you can see the pictures we could not finish on Friday because they arrived two different colors. Monday February 5th I talked to the super and he Informed me that I was not allowed to come back in, because she asked the super to not let me in to perform any more work in her apartment. Then after I heard I was not allowed to go there anymore texted her and asked to give me the money for the work I already did that she never payed me for.( see pictures).
I Am also adding before pictures of the two bathrooms. Also you adding  a video of the Master bathroom done.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    [Your Answer Here]

?- To start, I am not really sure if it is legal for *** to take pic of my place without my permission?
    - the entire long extensive response from *** has nothing to do with the quality of work that he did nor the incomplete work he left me.
    -  I am not sure if he is able to see what I posted with the poor quality and the lever of unprofessional level I got.
    - about the duration of the work, initially gave me 6 weeks that was changed to 3 weeks. Yet after the demolition that was completed in one day, *** proudly walked in saying that the job could be completed in a week!!!
    - to my knowledge that contractors pick up the heavy items. He requested that I leave his name for items pick up
    - while the orders were placed a while ago, some of the items were never shipped nor delivered. As pushy as he can be we had to buy another tub and tiles.
    - the isolation work for the bathroom I never asked for but he kept on pushing for it to do it because that will creat problems in the future. So I had to ****.
    - *** was recommended highly to me by one of the workers in my building, when push came to shove that worker stated that he was recommended to him through many other people but he had no first hand knowledge
    - I will not go into details about that but I started the work on my last week of sick leave after surgery on 1/3. When I had to cancel a day that was because of difficult time after the surgery and the work was done at that time in my master bedroom, where the bathroom was. I had to to rest that day
    - he made allegations that he scheduled a licensed plumber to come that day. Called non stop. When we resumed the following day. The plumbing part was done the following week and was done by ***,  not a scheduled plumber or even a licensed one.
    -  when I decided to terminate the work relationship because there were more damage than renovation was done, I contacted his insurance company, the funny part that I was told that he was not covered for any plumbing work and not supposed to be doing any. His insurance company made a remark that he took pictures in front of buildings claiming it was his!!!
    - talking about not finishing the work because of me. That person refused to work the building designated hours Monday through Saturday 9-5, and instead it is Monday through Friday 9- 2. The work was not done by him but by unlicensed contractors ******* who was left alone at all times to do except for the plumbing that *** is not licensed to perform.
    - when a professional is doing a shut off valve the wall should never be left open telling the customer do whatever you want with it
    - when the work is completed should be handed over for walk through and inspection, that never happened because *** was never around except for the money, the work is never considered complete if I have to clean and mob, scrub the floors with blotches of paint all over and I have to finish that for them.
    - last Friday, *** refused to pick up medicine cabinets to install from the reception in the building, insisting that I should have it there for him. Left without finishing the work, not waiting till 5 pm when I get home and his time to stop to get paid. At 2 pm he was inappropriate and throwing a tantrum wanting me to leave work and run home to pay him?
    - that Friday I decided to terminate all with him. As he made a claim he can only finish the following Monday when I have to work and cant see the final picture. Insisting that the rest of that week he has doctors appointments and ONLY Monday when I am not home he is willing to work.
    - after finding the leak and poor work quality in the powder room I decided that I had enough.
    - I communicated to his grid, the worker in my building to tell him not to ever come.
    - *** never dealt with the management to tell him not to come. That was his friend ***** who works in my building.
    - *** kept on calling and texting non stop despite doctors appointments that he was busy with. He was interfering with my work. I had to block his number for peaceful day at work.
    - work is incomplete, more damage than renovations and not even licensed or trained personnel. I am not clear why the customer is labeled ************************ ??? Where does the confusion here come from about the role?
    - during the time I dealt with ***, he came at 9 and disappeared, nothing was done but the poor quality plumbing that he is not supposed to do. The product is work by amateur and leak in the bathroom.
    - all talk, empty promises, that were changed repeatedly and work done by unsupervised unlicensed worker, yet tantrums and disrespect from *** continued, things had to stop. At one point I feared for my safety.
    - slow and incomplete work, when I ask I always got a loud voice with threats that he will take his tools and leave, and that is what he did the last day despite the work being not complete.
    - never there to check or supervise the work done by the unlicensed subcontractor.
    - even his friend who referred him found the behavior and quality of work to be unprofessional and below average standards.

First of all I am a GC and Its not part of my job to stay in one place since I have other projects that I do at the same time. YES! Sometime two and three or more projects at once since I have employees that I provide for each of my projects!!! IN this case ******* happened to be that employee that I provided for your project. I dont understand why we keep repeating the same stuff over and over agin. On my first response I said everything in detail including pictures of the project before and after(until you stopped us from working). I was hired after you had already fired another construction company/person to fix their mess as well as the stuff that needed to be done.

ALL THE ***** WORK THAT WAS NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT WAS SUBMITTED TO YOUR MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!

AT THIS POINT I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO ADD TO THIS CONVERSATION, because we KEEP SAYING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
Any person that is reading this can see very very clearly that I provided EVERYTHING that was needed in my first two responses.

I need the money to be paid to me as well for what you own me too!!!!

I am ready to go to court and square this out.
