    Between the financially devastating outcome that Covid had on my life, and an even more devastating personal situation that occurred at the same time, I fell into extremely hard times. Instead, of giving up and filing for bankruptcy protection, I have done all that I could to honor my financial obligations. Compass bought my loan from ******* ******** that I initially took to feed my child and pay rent during the Covid lockdowns. There have been a few snags in the payback process, such as my account being defrauded leading to the cancellation of my card and getting a new one, etc. Compass has called my autistic daughter, ex-husband who devastated our family, (which included causing my child to be suicidal), my ex mother-in-law, and my son; all in an effort to harass and intimidate me because I didn’t respond to their calls quickly enough. I have been working 3 jobs to attempt to survive and pay my basic bills. In particular, their employer, James Ryan, has been particularly harassing, to the point of viciousness. He leaves messages that appear to demonstrate a personal vendetta against me. I have now decided not to pay their company another dime and suggested they sell my debt to someone who can behave like a respectful and professional person.

    They called me stating I had a debt from a previous college but couldn't provide any information of the debt or any paperwork. They had me agree to 50$ a month to pay the debt but has had no correspondence with me since the initial call nor have they provided updates or anything I have heard from them. They have gotten almost 6 months in payments and I don't even know what I'm paying on really or if it's making any difference to my credit. They scammed me.

    This company called my soon to be ex husband who I am separated from and his name or number was never on the account he inquired about. He also disclosed to him all my history of accounts and went on to say I had 9 open accounts with other creditors. I don’t see how any of this can be legal and I will be contacting an attorney!! This is so violating I have never come across any company with this horrendous business practices!

    Company calls me but does not give any information why they are contacting me. I don’t have any outstanding debts.
