Purchased a car in 2023 2020Dodge Charger. Originally was for a friend who did not credit qualify. I found out that the employee inflated my salary for me to qualify. I did not read documents close enough. The car also had previous damage and was used as a rental and not disclosed to me. The credit application and retail installment contract show different terms, down payment and uses JD Power as source for value of car. According to them they do not give valuations on cars with prior damage. One lender stated the car was over valued for the amount the dealer was asking.Of course I was not told this. There are documents that have conflicting addresses. I have reached out to the dealership management with no return call to bring these complaints to their attention. This was a horrible first time experience. There is a possibility of an issue with the Odometer as the Disclosure doesnt line up with a Car fax I received from the lender I wound up getting the loan with. I dont know if I was taken advantage of because we were Women or Women of Color. Was this a one time situation? you decide. There is much more to this story. I still hope to resolve this issue .

The service along with the customer service and management is unacceptable. I brought my 2021 Kia ******** which I bought there to get my vehicles speaker fixed. This started in January 2025. It is now March. I was told a part needed to be ordered. After waiting almost 3 week's I called to find out about it and was told that it was never ordered because the ticket had been closed out accidentally after bringing it back again was told later in the day that my car was ready. I asked if the speaker was fixed and was told no. I was told that it wasnt the speaker and they would have to order parts. I understand they need to follow diagnostics etc but at this point Id is unprofessional and inexcusable. Fast forward to the beginning of March when I brought my car in yet again. After they kept the car overnight, I was told they need to order different. parts. Fast-forward another two weeks. I was told the parts still not in and may be in the end of March. I spoke to the manager, **** S and he advised me that this part is not covered that he would call Corporate and see if they would fix it on good faith. He told me he would get back to me this past Monday 3/17/25. I have left three messages for him and have not heard anything back along with him being rude on my original phone call with him. I understand that I am only 1 consumer but this is an unacceptable way to treat customers. I have bought 2 vehicles from them and this is how they treat you. I am so glad it was not a huge mechanical issue as I would be afraid of them fixing my car. Buyer Beware

If I could give zero stars that would better reflect my experience with SouthShore Kia - Service Department. Extremely poor communication and lack of professionalism. My daughter's car was there for the entire day and they did not complete the requested repairs. There was no communication, even after reaching out to the Service Manager, **** *******. The lack of response was astounding. I do not recommend anyone going there for service.

BE AWARE: South Shore Kia is engaged in false advertising deceiving its customers into signing a contract by providing a completely misleading information. Not trying to resolve a problem, rude and completely unprofessional management on all levels with terrible attitude and repulsive behavior.Advertising on South Shore Kia website for leasing new *** **** EV specifically included "One Year of Complimentary Charging" as part of the deal. Upon signing the lease in June the offer was confirmed by *********************, ***** Rep, and later by *******************, Finance Manager. ************ told me that one year of complimentary charging (as advertised) will be activated by the *** *** the next day by the *** ******* to fast charges by Electrify America. When the next day I called the *** *** ***************** as I was instructed, I was told by a representative that the *** *** not only does not offer or provide one year of complimentary charging but not even aware of a such promotion by any *** authorized dealer in the country.Over the next 3 weeks I called South Shore Kia numerous times, including calls and emails to ***************************, South Shore Kia General Manager. **********************, as anyone else at the dealership I spoke to, refused to honor the "deal" in any reasonable shape or form, the deal that was heavily advertised on the dealership's website and "confirmed in-person by the sales rep before and after signing the lease agreement. The only option ********************** offered me is to bring the car to South Shore Kia to charge mentioning a number of times that the dealership is not obligated to provide the details of the "special offer", even though the ad and the "special deal" I was offered clearly said the opposite. The offer by ********************** to charge the car at the dealership was nothing less than putting a salt on a wound well knowing I live miles away from the dealership and the only reason I came to ******** because I was offered a special deal of 1 year of free charging.

My experience with South shore Kia was very disappointing and aggravating. After test driving a vehicle which I was interested in imet with the finance director who told me he could get me an 8percent Apr. This was done within five minutes of meeting him. After I began to leave he then says he could get me an Apr of ****. it was late after all was said and done and he was pushing for me to clean out my vehicle and take possession of the new vehicle. All this without even transferring insurance insurance. I called back the following day with a question regarding the APr and the finance director called me back with such a bad attitude and nast demeanor that shocked me. I stupidly tried to salvage the deal with another manager just to find out that at the end of my payments I would have paid $11,000.00 over the purchase price. I just walked out. If you go to this dealership make sure you record what is told to you and get copies of everything. Bad experience.
