(Scammer Complaint) BFO Media - Be First Online Media Services, Inc. called, stating that our business has an outstanding unpaid invoice. They asked us to confirm the billing address so they could resend another invoice. Our office has never contacted or requested this service. A quick online search reveals that their game is to reach out to businesses and ask questions regarding information while being recorded, then place answers into an incorrect format, making it sound like the business requested the services. When asked what their invoice pertained to, I was told they can't disclose that information due to being a 3rd party security company, and calls were being recorded. BEWARE!

    This complaint is total
unfounded. Our company did contact ***** **** LLC to offer them our services
from our sales department July 9th 2025 at 10:36 AM. After speaking
to the sales representative, they were transferred to our quality control department.
The woman who took the call went over the billing information, the package they
were ordering, requoted the price, asked for a purchase order number and
confirmed that the person they were speaking with was authorized to purchase
and informed the client the invoice would be payable upon receipt. We proceeded
to mail out a physical copy of the invoice within a few business days. Our accounts receivable
department placed a call to them for the first time August 8th 2025
to inquire about the payment. According to the notes they requested another
copy by mail on that date. That department called them back August 25th 2025 and left a message. They finally make contact with them and had an
actually conversation about the services and the amount due on September 8th 2025. Still according to the notes we were told at that time that the person
who had told us that they were an authorized purchaser was not actually
authorized and referred us to somebody else, furthermore had claimed to have
not recalled talking to the sales department. They were informed that we do
have a recording of the conversation. At this point the person we were dealing
with didn’t have time to hear the call and requested a call back. We called
them back the next couple days and was still told that they did not have time
to hear the call. We have since cancelled the service and issued a full credit
on their invoice. The second half of their complaint
seems to be a regurgitation of someone else’s incorrect theory on our
procedures or confusing us with another company. We in non way modify any of
our quality control recordings. That would defeat the purpose of making sure
that no customer receives a service from us and is billed for it without
clearly being aware of our billing terms and conditions. That are for us to use
internally to verify that everyone has done their jobs correctly

BFO contacted me through a phone call. I thought it was a company that I have been working with the letters are very similar. They said the owner (myself) had verbally agreed to start using their company. They played a recording of me saying yes to the questions. The questions I continued to ask had been removed.
They said they had sent information to me and had seen that I had never started anything with there company. I never got any information and was never sent anything to sign. I became aware of this when they started calling for payment. When talking to them I explained that I had confused them with a company I was already working with. Even though we never started anything with them they wanted payment for work they had done that would be driving people to our website we do not have a website. I asked that they close the account they said they would close the account now I am being told they they will close the account when they receive payment. They have give me credits bringing the bill from $1799.95 to $611.02 for nothing at all.
I now just hang up on anyone trying to sell me anything!
JUST WANT TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!! If you get a call just hang up!

******* **** *******   was contacted by our sales department on 11/21/2024 at 4:30:13 EST. It went through our verification department on 11/21/2024 at 4:34:07 EST. Mr. ******* was informed that calls through our verification department are monitored for quality control. This sale was for a verified listing and SEO Starter package. Soon after an invoice was mailed out to *** ***** ***** ****** ******* **. On 01/07/2025 Mr. ******* called Be First Online Media Services and informed us that he had confused us with another company that he was working with and the company names sounded similar. We provided Mr. ******* a credit and charged him for our cost incurred on the service and closed his account immediately to which he agreed, subsequently the situation seemed to be resolved. On 01/17/2025 ****** ******* informed us that they would mail a check or require a payment plan and to follow up with him in a week. On 01/24/2025 we left ******* **** ******* a voice message, and subsequentially on 01/27/2025 we gave ******* **** ******* another call. He expressed his frustration with a customer service representative who reduced the invoice below our cost price. The agent felt that the customer was satisfied as Mr. ******* told them he would be mailing a check.   On 02/19/2025 we received a check from ******* **** *******. Since 01/27/2025 we haven’t heard back from Mr. *******. Our customer service team is always happy to help customers, we assumed the matter was resolved. We have not yet submitted it for processing. As we have now been aware of the full extent of Mr. *******’s frustration, we have decided not to process the payment and issue Mr. ******* a full credit on his account.   We would appreciate if this complaint was not posted on the Better Business Bureau website, as this would reflect poorly on our company. We have attempted to resolve Mr. *******’s issue to the best of our ability. As previously mentioned, the account for ******* **** ******* was closed on 01/07/2025. We have issued him a full credit and will not process the cheque in hopes that this satisfies Mr. *******’s concerns.   Be First Online Media Services hopes this matter has now been resolved .   Thank you     Customer Service Team ************************* ************************ Phone: ###-###-####

Our office staff at a statilite office is being repeatedly called, on or around August 12, 14, 20 and 22nd, sent an invoice and harrassed by BFO Media's general manager, Michael S********, stating that they have a recording of an employee who was spoken with in July 2024 and that they had stated that they had the authority to make business decisions for the practice, the named employee, ***** ******, had no authority to make any type of business decisions and when told this Mr. S******** said that they were not taking the "black eye" for this and they had given us all the credits that they would for the invoice. They were not authorized by the owner or manager of our practice to do any services for our business, and it's our belief that any telephone recordings that they may have of them speaking with any employee at our offices would have been manipulated by them taking that employees words out of context via BFO Media by deleting and pasting verbage in the conversation where they felt it was needed to obtain their fraudlent actions that they are now trying to do. We believe that by their actions of recording a phone conversation to begin with with someone who answereds a phone in a business that they were being deceitful and are are trying to extort money from our practice.

Our sales department  spoke with  Ms ***** ****** at the ******* ****** ****** on 7/10/2024 11:50:10 AM , she authorized a verified listing and starter search engine optimization package over the telephone . During our verification process ,  Ms ****** was asked if she was an  authorized purchaser on behalf of the ******* ****** ****** , she clearly said yes  . We then received  a phone call from one of their employees  claiming ***** was not authorized and had left the company , we proceeded to credit the SEO portion of the service,   however  the work  for the  verified listing had already been done. A woman by the name of ***** called and was quite rude , she was adamant that BFO  credit the invoice in full , our agent gave the ****** ****** a full credit on August 22 2024 at 3:26 pm and a balance zero statement was mailed to their location that same day . We have  emailed a full credit again today september 10 2024. We here at Be First Online Media services inc do not want any customer to pay for a service they are not fully satisfied with and find true value in . We consider this matter with the ******* ****** ******  resolved. Administration team.
