This place is pushy, no customers service, feeling like I got scammed by snobby people who just have a job to do. I only wanted information on a program I saw online for a price lower than billed, so when I told them I couldn’t afford the price they truly started acting like salesmen doing that “pushy” thing, once talked into something I still wasn’t comfortable with going threw with I was told I would receive emails with information on what was next, & a student code or something. NEVER GOT THAT! But they definitely didn’t forget to charge my debit card which is now closed due to repeated attempts to charge an account that didn’t have money in it the 1st 10 times you tried charging the account. Which gave me a nice overdraft bill & a closed bank account. So not only could I not afford the schooling which I stated I now have more debt due to the fact that Stratford couldn’t accept No Thank You. I never received any of the products they were selling nor any info on how to begin. Also trying to get ahold of someone to figure it out & cancel was a nightmare. But when it comes to taking money they are right in the front of the line. I never signed anything & I never wanted to sign up for this school in the first place I was ONLY calling for information. So to be charged for something I didn’t receive or use is absurd, further more. If I stated I couldn’t afford it in the beginning what makes a person think that sending them to collections is going to be any better. You want money for something I never even used, I didn’t receive anything & you didn’t lose anything. So they need to stop acting like a high school teenager who got dumped the 2nd day of being BF&GF.I could see if I was halfway threw the program yes it would be my fault but again I never received anything & other than wasting paper & ink & other people’s time they lost nothing from me.I only wanted to see if their advertisement was real. Which it wasn’t! Oh & i was forced to picking 1star they don’t deserve

I wouldn't recommend anyone go to Stratford career institute. I decided to cancel my courses just becuase I knew they weren't accredited and I didn't want to spend almost $600 for a course I probably wouldn't be able to use in the real world. So I called today and this woman answers the phone with this heavy accent. She doesn't say anything but immediately asked for my student number, name, and address. And then says how can I help you. It's early and I do have a stuttering problem. So I tell her I want to cancel. But I can't get the words out so I tell her I want to cancel my materials with Stratford career. She feels the need to correct me and in a nonchalant and irritated voice says you want to cancel your materials or the course?! It made me angry because you KNOW what I'm trying to say. And if you cancel the materials obviously there's no need to attend the school without the materials for the course you're taking. An argument ensued and she hung up on me. Upon calling back I once again got the same woman with the heavy accent and gave her the same info. Student number, name and adress. And I said I wanted to cancel the COURSES, I stressed. She muttered something and I had to ask her 3 times what she said and fhen she said my courses would be canceled as requested. I did thank you and hung up. If this is how you treat people then I may as well stay disabled. I was trying to enhance my life. If I was still suffering from depression they'd have ruined that for me. Some of thee courses at Stratford are in the $1000s of dollars. You need to get accredited and learn some good customer service. If I could give Stratford a zero I would. Never again! Let see if she actually cancels. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have trouble with billing after this.

I have had four courses through Stratford. I decided to drop my Spanish class. Even though I am still a student and still paying on another course they sent my account to collections. Their diplomas are worthless. That is not good business.

This Stratford Career Institute program is not an accredited program and is a waste of your valuable time and Money. you can not use their High school Diploma or certificates at any college or Accredited facilities. I and my Husband were scammed out 800-1200$ without any refund in sight or answering back to us explaining why this piece of information is not on the front page. The program needs to be shut down, how many more people are gonna get scammed just to find out their certificates are fake paperweight?!.

They sent me a books in the mail, but i haven’t get it yet, because I’m on my vacation. They don’t want to send another one, they just want me to keep on paying .for the tuition for nothing. Maybe it was lost in the mail or delivered in the wrong address. The customer service was so rude. How can i refund the money that i paid?

I choose unfortunately to use this online resource for bookkeeping and administration courses. Its pretty expensive and some of the material about administration is really old now and not worth it. The bookkeeping course has some material thats useful but thats all you get. There are exams / but since I have seen such poor reviews its probably better to go to your local adult school. I don't feel I got value for money and yes its very expensive even though they advertise the courses are on sale etc or discounted.

I spoke to an agent today that was incredibly rude. I have to withdraw from the school and it seems they have no information to give and should train their customer service agents better. I thought this would be a good school and I know now I was wrong.

They charge you for the full amount of the class if you have missed payment and want to cancel. My choices are either pay up front right now for it all or pay monthly. I was late because my dad died and bank accounts were frozen.
