On February 16, 2023, due to a virus, my computer was shut down. A phone number listed on the sight was for GNJ Web Ops LLL claiming to be Microsoft. To fix the problem it would cost me $399.95 for virus protection for the next 3 years. Payment was made on Feb 16 by electronic check. I cancelled the agreement within the following week. The invoice ************** quotes "Covered under our 30-day full refund NQA policy. Several contacts with Melvin Bi***** the agent whom I have been in contact has been to no avail. He claims everything has been taken care of. Today March 5th Still no refund. The original name on the check was changed to *** ********* ********* LLC. I would appreciate any help to resolve this issue. Thanks ******* **** ***

I had a serious virus preventing me from using my computer on 5/14/22 and a site dame up saying they could fix it. They charged me $829.98 for a six (6) year plan so I would not have any more problems. I consulted with my computer specialist later, and he told me it was a scam. Since I already had the protection I needed, and the virus was generated probably by that company. I was told when I bought the service that it was a 30-day trial period in which I could be refunded the money less a $100 fee. I had to wait until 6/15/22 (30 days) to file for the rebate which I did and was told it would take about 21 days to get the refund check. The confirmation number that was given to me was #*******. I was also supposed to receive a confirmation email which I never received. No check came and when I called several times this week, the agent (Melvin B***** who I finally got in touch with) said the check had been delivered. It certainly had not, but he said today (7/26/22) that he would check it out which would take some time. This to me is a way to delay and not do anything. I would appreciate any help you can give me to resolve this problem. The only supporting items are the icons left on my CPU including the Tech Notepad (which I have uploaded).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company has not refunded my fee as I requested.  The service they supplied could be cancelled within 30 days and I did cancel it.  They said I would receive a refund in 21 days which I did not receive.  Numerous phone calls with the business produced no results and they never called back as they said they would.  They still owe me $729.98 from the original $829.98 less a $100 chg.

Date of transaction was 5/14/22 for CPU service for 6 years at $829.98. My case is #********* with BBB. There is still a problem with the company, GNJ Web Ops LLC. When I bought the service, I was told I could cancel within 30 days which I did when my home CPU specialist said this is a scam. It was cancelled on 6/14/22, and I was told that I would receive a refund of $729.98 (which is less the fee of $100 they charge) within 21 days (before 7/12//22). No refund was received and numerous calls to the company have been unsuccessful. They keep coming back with "All securities and updates have been installed.docx" which is not the refund information I was promised. I have gotten several responses from BBB concerning the reply from the GNJ Web Ops LLC company. All of those responses are not satisfactory in that they are side-stepping the issue of giving me a refund. I am not sure that this is the procedure to follow with the BBB responses. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me to resolve this issue. Sincerely **** *****
