    On October 8th, a representative *** from KD Tree Service came to my house to give me a "Free quote" for a tree-cutting service. It was to cut two branches of a large maple tree that reached over my house. He said it would be $900, but he needed a $100 deposit. I thought this was strange since it was a free quote. I gave him the $100 as a check, which he cashed and he said the work would be done in 1.5 to 2 weeks. He filled out a signed invoice for it stating it would be done and cost $900. I called the company yesterday October 22nd since I hadn't heard from them. They said oh we are coming tomorrow, which didn't work for me since I had work. They said I did not have to be home. Today, October 23rd they came to the house (allegedly) and reported the work could not be completed because my shed was in the way and it would now cost more money. I asked them for my $100 back, and have not heard anything from ***. The person who answers the phone keeps saying he's going to call *** and get back to me.

    The company has finally refunded me my money in full on venmo. I will not be using them again. You can close this case. Thank you.
