I called Adema and said my a/c is low . I have a old a/c and I knew freon is expensive and my be hard to get. She said ill send a guy out. He literally came and did nothing at all. He looked at my unit and said that sucks you need a new unit because its old and they cant get the freon. Then charged $150 to do nothing at all. Then said if they did have the freon it was $357lb. I called 3 other companies after they left and they all had the freon for 160lb . They said companies like them try to just replace units instead of fixing them. My leak and a/c got fixed for $600 instead of $5000. These ppl shouldn't be in business. Now I have to fight to get my $150

Adema is trying to collect money for a service they did not provide. In the aftermath I was left to call ******. After ****** conducted a full inspection of the furnace it was unfortunately determined I needed a new furnace. If Adema would have conducted a full inspection they would have come to the same conclusion, and they would have been installing my furnace. I have a history with adema, when they provided a service I paid in full. Their greed and the technicians incompetent lazy behavior make me stop using their service.

I called Adema Sunday the 14th 2004 for an emergency . The technician let me know it would be 250 dollars just to walk in the . He didn't seem like he wanted to be helping me. the motor was burnt out. if I wanted it fixed that day or Monday. He would be charging another 150 to go open a door to see if they had the part. If the didn't have the part I was still to be charged 400 dollars for him to maybe order the part and fix the furnace when it comes in. He went to his truck for something. He didn't say. At that time my friend Jenny fatta ,( Jenny is five foot zero inches with loopus and a breathing problem ) went out to the van to ask him why the price gouging during our time of need . Let him know we couldn't afford this as I myself am a disabled veteran and we are both bad with cold temperatures. Then she went back to bed. He left. He just pulled off. I had to call him several times to find out why. I let him know that if her questions made him feel dishonest or uncomfortable he could have called me from inside his work van and I would have talked to him. Instead he just pulled away. I had no choice but to call Reimer. REIMER charges 90 dollars no matter what day of the week. The technician preformed a COMPLETE INSPECTION of furnace. Unfortunately the furnace had to be replaced. Reimer let me know there is no way Adema could have done a complete inspection of the unit or they would not have left it in the condition they did. It was a fire hazard and further more to put a motor on a furnace that was put in in 2000 would have been a dangerous act .like a bandaid on a broken furnace. I feel Adema had zero interest in fixing my furnace and more like collecting an easy 400 dollars. Reimer installed my new furnace Monday the 16th. I am so grateful to Reimer. They didn't act like money was the most important thing. If Adema wasn't so greedy I feel they would have been installing my furnace. I called them to say I do not feel the inspection was properly preformed.

Adema Heating and cooling so now because I heard this man's feelings because I told them that it's highway robbery to charge us $250 just to come out $150 to go to back to the store to get the part plus charges to put the part in and then charges for the part on top of all the other extras he said I heard his feelings so he just left and didn't bother fixing our furnace and left us in the cold and won't come back because of my opinion of the highway robbery in which they're doing to us it's seriously $600 without them doing anything and he just leaves us to freeze a woman with cancer a man who is 100% disabled vet with a 6 year old grandson what kind of company does that obviously they do they are horrible this is ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves

In 2021, Adema heating installed a ****** mini-split unit. After installation, I tested the heating system to see how well it worked. It didn't turn on. Concerned I put in a service call to Adema to come check the unit while it was still under warranty. They sent someone out immediately. The technician turned on the unit and the heating unit didn't immediately start up. He then began forcibly adjusting the unit itself. He didn't seem familiar with the unit. In the end, we learned the heating needed time to adjust from cooling to the heating function but the result of jostling the unit was a gap between the front and pack portion of the unit on it's right side. He tried to adjust the unit and snapped it back into place but after he left, it re-opened. Other techs have come out and it always re-opens after they leave. The last tech that came to service my unit adjusted it and now there are two gaps on both sides. I've reached out to the company numerous times, and it has not been rectified. I reached out to the office manager, and it has not been addressed. So, I guess after paying over $4,000 for a mini-split. This is what I will have to live with.
The technicians are very pleasant but every time I look at the unit, I'm upset especially when Adema wasn't the lowest bid, but I thought they would provide the service and quality I wanted. I was wrong.
Would you be happy with this unit and service? Probably not. Avoid the aggravation. Do not use this company.

My first personal business was with Adema began in 1975, and the latest was this week to perform a seasonal inspection on a furnace they installed 10 years ago. Their technician, Dave, professionally inspected and corrected an issue thus avoiding a major problem. I recommend Adema.

Got good, prompt service on a weekend. Technician Dave was able to isolate the problem and provide a fix immediately. He explained each step of what he was doing and upon completion what he had done.
    I’m delighted with this company!

I recently upgraded my air conditioner and furnace and received 5 quotes. 4 out of the 5 advertise discounts and sales all the time. Now I know why. Adema actually came in quite lower than the other 4. The other 4 almost doubled to being 2 grand more for they same units (or comparable). Service was excellent from beginning to end. I will always use them.
