I have never received a letter or anything with a balance update. My Mom received a call from them and when I received the message, I contacted them. I’ve never been sent any documentation. Never shown a balance and there’s not even a website for me to view. I haven’t received any email correspondence either.Business Response

Upon initial contact, they gave me my full social security # without confirming my identity and asked me to confirm it. When i did not confirm, i was immediately threatened with legal action and hung up on. They have called my work place. They called my dad and told him they were after me for a debt and told him they were considering legal action. I am considering talking to a lawyer about this.Initial Complaint

Jacobson and Wright have contacted me and my elderly parents about a debt I supposedly owe. They at first said it was a check that had not cleared. I have not written a check in 3-5 years. I don’t even have a check book. I pay things via electronic means. Their voice mails are harassing, and they contact co workers that at have long retired, and family member I have little contact with. They are absolutely sketchy. I have received zero things in writing and have no clue who my supposed original creditor is, as they have not disclosed this information.Initial Complaint

The man David from this company has called me and my family including younger siblings with my personal information on a debt owed to a COMPLETELY different company lied that they own the account and demanded I set a payment plan on their sketchy website. David is extremely rude and loves to talk over people and loves to also give out peoples social security without verification of who he is talking with and date of birthday WOULDNT be so bad if it was last four of social but he gave my full social. After I had went to the actual company it was owed to and set payment plan he still threatened and hardassed my family for days after in regard to the matter knowing my number he can reach me. Family and I am are receiving harassing calls from David stating she is with Jacobson and Wright law firm and I have outstanding bill/loan with a creditor. I asked to receive a copy of the documents. It has been little over two weeks and I have received nothing via email or mail. I searched this law firm name and cannot find a reputable website or phone number. Recently, I received another call from the same person stating that the documents were sent. I explained they were not and asked again for the documents. To date, nothing. I am requesting cease and desist from this scammer. You can call and it goes straight to a voicemail.Initial Complaint

My sisters ex-husband whom I have no contact with and I are receiving harassing calls, emails, and mail from David L***** stating he is with Jacobson and Wright Law Firm and I have outstanding bill/loan with a creditor. I searched for this law firms name and website which looks very generic (something created in ** *****) not very reputable. Recently, I received another call and email from the same person stating that I am in breach of contract with their client. I will also be notifying the postal inspector to let them know they are using the postal system as a form of mail fraud to extort me out of money and that they do not have the legal right to collect on a debt. I have never entered into a contract with these people or borrowed any money from them. I do not know who they are. David L***** with Jacobson and Wright Law Firm do not have the right to keep harassing us. I am requesting a cease and desist from this scammer.Initial Complaint

Getting very rude phone calls to all of my family members by a guy named David harassing me and all my family members I no longer have contact with about a debt. Called from a weird number but gives a local number to contact. I want all of these calls to stop immediately. If I owe a debt I will o die by that if I get something official in the mail giving instructions.Business Response
