On March 18th, a broker by the name of **** and I began correspondence regarding shipment of my vehicle from ** to CA. The initial contract signed on March 18th clearly stipulated a pickup date of Monday, April 1st, and a delivery date by April 6th, for the price of $900. The contract also outlined a deposit of $200, which I paid to secure the services as per the agreed terms.However, on April 1st, the scheduled pickup date, I had not received any communication from **** regarding the status of the shipment. Upon reaching out to him, I was informed that a driver had been found but the price had increased from $900 to $1100. **** also states that the driver will be able to deliver the car within 4 days, for a new delivery date of Friday, April 5th. This sudden change in pricing was not communicated beforehand and contradicted the terms of the initial contract. At this point, I have NO other options as I was leaving town in 24 hours. The driver, ******, contacts me and picks up my car within 3 hours. On the promised delivery date of Friday, April 5th, **** contacted me to inform me that my vehicle would be delivered later in the afternoon. However, when I attempted to confirm the delivery with the driver, ******, he did not respond. We got in touch via phone call hours later, ****** stated that he never told **** directly that he would be delivering the vehicle today. ****** confirmed that h*** deliver my car on Saturday, April 6th instead. He gives no further details or explanation as to why delivery has been delayed. It is clear to me that ****** and **** were not communicating directly regarding my vehicle and this is concerning to me.This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and integrity on behalf of the company. Not only did they fail to honor the terms of the initial contract, but the promised delivery date was completely disregarded. These business practices are completely unacceptable.
