  The deserve -5 satrs This is an unprofessional, immoral, and unethical business. On 9/22/24 my car was towed to them following an accident. I signed to have the vehicle release to the insurance company on 9/23. Clutch towing avoided calls from the insurance company for the next few days. When contact was made on 9/27 Clutch Towing said the cost is more than 3K and must be paid by cash. On 9/30 I went to retrieve my plates for which they told me it is their policy to give I to the insurance company. I requested to see the policy of which the worker replied I do not have it. I reminded him that I am the owner of the vehicle and plates. He continued to give me the run around instructing me to return the next day. He was asked about his rates, for which he replied I do not know, billing deal with this. This business has received poor ratings and is frowned upon in the community. An investigation is required to cease the exploitation of customers.This place is location: **************************

  Clutch Towing is notorious for unfair practices. They overcharge beyond the standard $125 fee and illegally demand cash payments, refusing to accept credit cards. More people need to stand up to these shady tactics by filing complaints. If you've had a similar experience, report them to NYC Consumer Affairs: ***********************************************************. Let's hold them accountable!

  These people are a bunch of thieves not sure why they are in business shady stuff is happening there they won't give you a receipt for your vehicle I've had to call police three times

  This place is full of scammers who want to just exploit people for money. I had a vehicle towed from in front of my lot on Thursday 08/22/24, I located the vehicle on 08/26/24 and when I went to retrieve it they told me the total was $900. They appear to have some type of scam or scheme with the 75th precinct to tow vehicles and leave them Out of the system. I called the 75th precinct the day the car was towed & they told me sanitation took the car and had no record of a tow order for my vehicle. I called again on that Friday and was told again they had no record of a tow being requested. When I come to this establishment today they tell me they only tow vehicles once they get a tow order from the precinct. So clearly theres collision going on . But the amount of fees that were added on top of the regular tow fee were insane, $50 a day , $175 equipment fee . $250 for the tow , taxes $125 , tow out fee $125. Both the precinct and this company are criminal and need to be investigated

  Some of the nicest individuals working in this company. I got into a car accident and they came so fast and helped me with my car and told me what was going to happen. They made some really good referrals and suggestions which made my life so much easier.

  These guys is crooks Charge me a lot of money to get my car out and the invoice dont even look legit. It doesnt even have the companies name on the receipt.

  My car was towed even though I believe I was parked legally. I should have taken a picture as evidence before leaving. I called Clutch Towing and was told to arrive asap before they close. I took an Uber and arrived to their location on ********** but there was no one present. Another couple was there with the police and they complained of their rental car not being released even after presenting the Rental contract. A staff arrived after more than 30 minutes and informed me I had to pay $310 for towing and storage. He refused to release the car after I complained to the police on scene that this was a rip off. I was told to return the next day for the car but they were closed. I paid total of $385 after two days before my car was released. This place is a scam and rip off. They only accept cash and provide a receipt with no company name. Multiple people complained of similar tactics and unreasonable tow fees while I was there. They need to be held accountable.

  They kept my car and charged me $800 for day and refused to give me my car back even with showing t he right documents. Even had the police involved who also claimed that this a civil matter and wish they can help and guided me towards this website.

  They have my fathers car who's is not available now, I brought a notarized letter with him giving me permission to get the car out along with his license and insurance and they still refused.

  Worse than a scam, this business preys upon the weak, the ill-informed, the so-called customers they'll get in their clutches to squeeze all they can from their ill-gotten gains!THEY CHARGE SALES TAX, CLAIM THEIR CREDIT CARD MACHINE IS BROKEN, SO PAY IN CASH!This means they're raking in the money and NOT REPORTING IT TO ***!Businesses like this should be closed and prosecuted for fraud and deception.I want to do all in my power to get them closed down!Reported them to ******************** for Sales Tax evasion.Will follow up with *** ********** of ******** Affairs to have them lose their license!That is what they deserve.BTW no longer on ***********, now located ***********************************************I will not rest until this place is put out of business!
