The shipping was impressively fast, the product was 100% authentic, and I really appreciated the frequent updates along the way. Everything went smoothly, and I couldnt be happier. 1 starIf I could give zero stars I would. Lack of communication is an understatement. Sadly, this is not the first time Ive had this issue with them. However, this review is based on this recent ************* first email was asking for a mockup within 48 hours of placing the order. As suspected, I did order incorrectly. From there though, communication still did not improve. Given that 8 days post order, there was still no response. Finally got an email saying the frames were discontinued. Two days after that, having sent over replacement options, as requested, still received no response. I find out, AFTER CALLING, that there was one last frame found somehow. Shouldnt have had to call. Should have received a follow up telling me. Never got a response the original email:Get told via email frames would be sent by the week of 7/27/25, and they werent, they got send week or 8/4/25, over a week after I was told they would be. Still no communication letting me know. Given the fact that they messed my order was supposed to be prioritized, which is clearly wasnt.Then, I find out after it all, I cannot return. Buyers beware. Do not buy from them.Designer Optics Corp.

The frame originally ordered was discontinued, but we were able to locate the last available piece and process it exactly as requested. We notified the customer and remained in communication throughout the process. Prescription lenses require approximately 57 business days for surfacing and an additional 12 days for edging and quality control, which is why the order shipped the week of 8/4.
As outlined in our return policy, prescription orders are custom-made and therefore non-returnable. However, should there ever be an error in workmanship or prescription, we will gladly remake the lenses at no cost to the customer. 1 starNo update, no shipping, unresponsive to cancellation request I placed an online order (#******) with Designer Optics on July 15, 2025. As of today, I have received no shipping confirmation, no status update, and no meaningful response from customer service.I attempted to contact the company through their website/email to request an update and eventually a cancellation, since the order had not shipped and no status info at all. The only response I received was an automated message stating that I would hear back within one business day. It has now been several days, and I have received no follow-up.I am concerned by the lack of transparency and poor customer service. According to their own policies, customers should be able to cancel if the order has no updates. I believe this delay and unresponsiveness constitute unfair business practices. I am requesting the following resolution:Immediate cancellation of my order Full refund of the charged amount Written confirmation of the cancellation Communication with a real person instead of a bot!!!Designer Optics Corp.

Order #****** was placed on July 15, 2025 for prescription eyewear, which requires a custom manufacturing process. Our lab provided an updated processing estimate of 57 business days due to the specialized lenses ordered.
The order completed quality inspection on August 4, was upgraded to next-day shipping at no cost, and was delivered on August 7, 2025.
We understand the customers concern about processing time and worked to ensure the fastest possible delivery while maintaining quality standards. 1 starI would leave zero stars if I could. I purchased *** Bans and received counterfeit frames and scratched lenses. The company wants me to pay again to only fix the lenses. Its a scam having customers pay twice for a knock off product.Designer Optics Corp.

Every order goes through a careful inspection by our licensed optician to ensure the frames and lenses meet our quality standards. After carefully reviewing your returned glasses, our lab confirmed that the frames were in proper condition and the lenses passed inspection before leaving our facility.
That said, we always want to help find a fair solution when a customer is not satisfied. As shared with you directly, we have offered to remake the lenses for you at a discounted price.

1 starHorrible experience. Wrong prescription lenses done. Sent a request for a refund for a frame , they responded that they wouldnt issue a refund as the frames were scratched. When the glasses were not even worn once. It seems this company has intent not issue refunds no matter the customers concern. Poor customer service, no concern for consumer and poor quality products. There are a lot more better companies than this one to order prescription glasses. Dont order from this company.Designer Optics Corp.

The prescription lenses in this order were made exactly as entered at checkout we did not receive an updated prescription from you, and we fulfill orders based on the information the customer provides.
Regarding the frame return, our team inspected the returned product and found one temple scratched. While our policy does not allow refunds on used or damaged frames, we still accepted the return as a courtesy and issued the refund with a standard restocking fee.

1 starI placed Order #****** on May 30, 2025, and as of today, I have yet to receive any meaningful update on its shipping status. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating. I attempted to contact customer service for clarity, only to experience even more disappointment. While composing my initial inquiry, I was placed on hold for over two minutes. The call queue moved me from position 14 to 3, then briefly to 1, only to drop me back to position 4. This kind of inconsistency and disorganization is unacceptable for any company claiming to value its customers.Its extremely uncomfortable to feel ignored and uncertain about an order Ive paid for. Not only is the delay frustrating, but the inability to speak with someone directly adds to the disappointment. I should not have to jump through hoops just to find out where my package ***** this point, Im asking for a clear shipping update within the next four days. If no response is provided, I will cancel my orderagain. I sincerely hope this review prompts the company to reevaluate its customer service practices. 1 starI truly wished I read the reviews prior to submitting my order back in Mar 10 using my FSA funds, it is now May and still no product. I originally contacted them via the phone three weeks after not receiving any updates. The customer service *** stated that my product was on backorder, and it would arrive the following Monday. I asked when the frames arrive how long would it take to get my rx filled. The *** did not ***ly and hung up on me. I waited another two weeks in hopes to receive follow up and I decided to send an inquiry via email. Seems like their typical response to the customers on this thread that everything is backordered. It's truly unfortunate as I have been waiting patiently for a product that was advertised with a great deal of promise. Your order placed on March 10 included the Saint ******* ** 596 DUNE OPT eyeglasses, which unfortunately went on backorder with the manufacturer. We understand how important timely delivery is especially when using *** funds and we deeply regret that this delay was not anticipated at the time of your purchase.
Wed like to clarify that when you called our customer service team, we informed you of the items backordered status and shared the expected restock timeline as provided by the manufacturer. We're truly sorry if the call experience felt incomplete or unprofessional. That is not reflective of our service standards, and we are looking into the call handling internally.
You later followed up via email on April 23, and we responded promptly on April 24, confirming that the manufacturer had extended the backorder to mid-July. We also assured you that we are in ongoing communication with the supplier and that your order will ship immediately once available, with tracking information provided.

We understand the wait has been longer than expected, and wed like to make things right. At this point, you are welcome to:
Keep your order active and well fulfill it immediately upon restock
Switch to a different in-stock frame, and well assist with the swap
Cancel the order entirely for a full refund, including your FSA payment

1 starAbsolutely AWFUL! Delivery took forever. I ordered 3 pairs of progressive glasses, and all 3 came with lenses that are terrible. Shapes are distorted, and they make me sick and dizzy. I have tried so hard to make them work, but I just can't. They insist they were made correctly, and will not offer me any sort of refund. I even asked if they would just refund the lenses and I would keep the frames, again, NO! I should've listened to other reviewers that said the same thing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!Designer Optics Corp.

All three pairs of progressive lenses were made exactly to the specifications provided in your prescription. They were carefully crafted by licensed optical labs and passed final inspection before shipping.
When you reached out expressing difficulty adjusting to the lenses, our team responded promptly and professionally. While progressive lenses can require an adjustment period, especially for new wearers or new prescriptions, we take these concerns seriously. As such, we offered to have all three pairs returned for a full inspection and verification at no additional cost to you. Unfortunately, you did not return the glasses for analysis, which prevented us from evaluating the issue further or exploring possible solutions.
We also respectfully advised that due to the custom nature of prescription lenses, especially progressives, our policy does not support refunds unless there is a manufacturing defect which we could not confirm without inspecting the items.
