    I am a service provider on SoundBetter. SoundBetter is a freelance platform for people selling music services. Clients book through SoundBetter and the platform holds the funds in escrow until the job is completed. SoundBetter pays the agreed amount to service provider on successful completion of a project.As a provider, I successfully completed a job on the SoundBetter platform on October 8th 2023. SoundBetter wrote to me on this date to confirm the job had been successfully completed. The amount due to me from SoundBetter is $44 less their commission at 7%, so a total of $40.92. In their email of October 8th 2023, SoundBetter told me that the funds will be paid into my PayPal account within 48 hours.Despite sending numerous emails chasing this, and lodging a formal complaint, at time of writing (October 31st 2023) funds still have not been received. They tell me they are having problems sending over the funds to my PayPal account, though this PayPal account is active and working and has previously accepted numerous payments from SoundBetter. No other forms of payment have been offered (e.g. bank transfer).I am making this complaint to request full payment of the amount of $40.92 due to me from SoundBetter.
