I paid 2200. Grand for 5 years of service but after 3 months my one of my mini split started making a noise so I called for service and they are giving me the run around for a month.A technician was supposed to come but never showed up instead told me to send him a picture of the Mini split and told me I need a replacement without even coming to see what was wrong ?? one week passed by they send another technician because I did not want the first one.The second technician showed up 4 hours late and told me I need to replace the mini split.They Called 5 days later telling me that the min split is 7 years old and they need records so I told them that it isnt 7 years old but 6 months old.Now I have to wait for them to call me back.Please do not do business with this company it is a scam. THE WORST COMPANY IN ANY INDUSTRY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN 50 YEARS! AND, I have never taken the time to write a negative review either - not my style. BUT, this company has predatory business practices and is playing a shell game. The contract is ****** vague and ripe for a law suit but I dont have the energy nor time. They take forever; separate out their groups so no one knows anything; never have a supervisor available; and make it so you have to call many times with no resolution. It has taken over 6 weeks to get our dishwasher repaired (still not resolved) and I have had to call at least 6 times and have at least 4 chats. They claim they are number one but that must be through paying someone. Do NOT buy this policy. You will regret it. Save yourself! Wish I could give zero stars but the system is not set up that way. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews found on the company's website. Smoke and mirrors. Please do your research on this company before purchasing. I waited ten days for them to locate a technician to repair my heat during the Winter. It only got fixed when I found the technician myself and asked LHG to reimburse me. Just recently they refused to repair my AC unit, instead they promised me a "credit" towards a new unit. I have never received any further information about the credit. Run, don't walk away from Liberty Home Guard.Review from Edgar C

They took my money and refused to fix my refrigerator, said if i replaced it they would give me some money, my ac broke, they picked the most expensive component and disallowed it. They are not right, always saying the policy says this or that, they do not pay they take. I fired them because they do not fix they take.Review from Sri B

I do not have an option to rate zero or negative 5. So I am choosing 1. This company is a sham. It's not worth even expecting any coverage from this company. I had ********************* earlier, which was good. I had an issue with my water heater, which needs to be replaced. And they don't even cover the appliance. They say that the installation, haul away and the cost of appliance is mine, while they pay $150 with a $65 deductible for $3000 plus expense.They make huge promises while selling the policy. But the agreement is very vague. And everytime I call them for a service, I realize that my money was in drain.Review from Ian H

Not a real company, they dont pay out on covered items, they just keep sending out technicians until they get the result they want. Thy also put limits on why theyll pay on covered items, I had something covered break and it was $3200 to replace it, they said theyd cover $800. A total joke. Also, no refunds. After cancellation fee and miscellaneous charges, it just so happened I was owed nothing.Review from Paul S

On 3/26/24 we filed a claim with Liberty Home Guard for our refrigerator. The refrigerator was making a loud noise and the ice machine was not making ice. They assigned a technician pretty fast and we had an appointment for 3/27/24. The technician did not do any electrical analysis and said we needed a new ice maker.The technician left because LHG had to order the ice maker. When the ice maker arrived, the technician was supposed to come back and install the ice maker.For some reason the technician was dismissed from our claim. On 4/2/24 2 more technicians were assigned to our claim. The 1st technician, ( which never came to our house ) thought our refrigerator was a warranty issue. Our warranty was already expired. The 2nd technician from a totally different company, came to our house and said the problem was not the ice machine and my wife said the technician installed some type of motor. The motor was supposed to fix both problems, ( loud noise and start making ice ). The technician told us we need to send the ice machine back to LHG. The following day we still did not have any ice and a couple days later the loud noise returned. We contacted LHG to get a return label for the ice machine. Since our problem is still not fixed, we kept calling LHG about getting another technician to our house, and was told by the customer service rep to not send the ice machine back because that *** be the problem.It is now 4/21/24 and we are still waiting for a decision from LHG. Every time we call them, The representative says the same thing, that our claim is under review and that someone will contact us shortly. They have 24 to 48 hours to assign a technician to us. It is way past 48 hours and the problem is still not fixed. This is totally ridiculous, they do not have a problem taking your monthly payments, but they dont want to fix what you paid for. I would not recommend LHG to anyone, do some major investigation before you buy any home warranty program. Canceling policyReview from Cameron D

The first time I used them, it was because my kitchen ceiling was collapsing because of a leak from a water pipe. I called them and they said it would take 3-5 business days just for someone to come and inspect it. I couldn't wait that long because sewer water was literally dripping into my Kitchen. I ended up paying for my own inspection which they said they would reimburse me (they never did). After I sent them the inspection report a week went by and I heard nothing from them while water continue to seep into my Kitchen. I ended up cancelling the claim and paying out of pocket for repairs. Also, it took a month just to get a refund for the claim free with multiple calls.My second claim, my HVAC system is going out and has a mold infestation. I put in a claim for it and the inspector actually came out in a decent amount of time. The inspector said that we would need a whole new HVAC system since this one is about to go out. He inputted his report to LHG and they called me to say that they couldn't cover an HVAC system because in the report it says that there is a "leak". I have no leaks coming from my HVAC system itself and that wasn't even related to my claim. They said "we can contribute the greatest amount available", which turns out to be a whole $800 for a until that costs about $8,000.The only good thing that has come out of this company is a ****** learned that home warranties aren't worth it. Also, if you put any bad reviews on their app or company, they'll reach out to you and bribe you to take down your review with a $50 gift card, which by the way will never come. Which kind of says that their 5 star reviews are most likely fake.Take this review as a source of wisdom and invest in a high yield savings account instead of a warranty company that cares nothing about you or your home.Review from Pamela M

What a horrible company! I am on my fourth technician. He was a no call no show like the others. The technicians name is ***************************. Do not purchase from this company. This claim has been going on since August of 2023. Stay away from this trainwreck of a company!!!!
