I bought my car from Marquis Auto on 02/07/2025 the car got delivered on February 20th. The deal was that I was turning in my company car 4-5 months early and that we would favor in an early turn in payment into my monthly payments the early turn in number factored into my new lease was $5000 over a 36 month period the lease monthly payments came out to $790. When I revived the bill for my early turn in from my car that I turned in it actually came in just under $5000 at $4823.99. When the bill came my husband sent it to them so they can pay it since we had already factored in the $5000 and they had my husband pay $895 toward the bill. He didnt realize it was already factored in. When I took notice I reached out to them and I have been in a back and forth for over a month and they keep just trying to break down the $5000 into parts. My car was also delivered late, dirty and was missing the wheel lock key for the tire and the local car dealership was courteous enough to priced one for me but according to the local dealer they can run about $150 they are responsibly for turning in my car with all parts in tact.

The initial deal was to roll in 5 remaining payments of $980 each and only that. Any thing additional was on the client . While doing the transaction for the new car one of those 5 payments already got withdrawn from clients account . So we credit her back one $980 payment. When finalized statement comes there is other chargers beyond the 4 payments that were left and client feels were responbile for that when it was never mentioned or discussed.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Marquis actually owes me $1021.01 because the final bill for my old car was  $ ******* they  factored in $5000 to my monthly payments into my new car lease with them. They chose $5000 because they estimated thats what it would cover to turn in my old car early.  My husband paid $845 toward that bill which he wasnt supposed to and there is a $176.01 because thats the difference after that left on the bill to get to the $5000 they factored in.   The February payment  which they covered because I got charged for my old car lease while they were still trying to get the car to me because the deal took so long.
