Our oil burner stopped working.I called Don ********************** who is the owner of,McSorley Enterprises to repair it. He told me that the Circulator Pump Assembly had seized up, and he lubricated it and got it working temporary. He said it needed to be replaced. This was on December 19 2023. We decided to have it replaced. We called *** **********************, and left messages. He was very busy and we were told we would have to wait. A month later he emailed me a proposal to replace the old circulator assembly with a new one.The cost was $1425 plus tax. I emailed ************************* back that we accepted the proposal . On January 22, 2024 ************************* sent two of his workers to replace the circulator assembly. They replaced the circulator assembly but did not drain the boiler which was suppose to be done to,replace it according to the Proposal. I questioned questioned this , but ** ********************** said, there was cut off valves, and it wasn't necessary. I paid ************************* cash $1425.00. He gave me a handwritten invoice, and promised to mail me a typed copy. The new circulator began making noises sporadically A week later the oil burner began making very loud noises, and the floor upstairs vibrated, and the noise was so loud that,we couldn't hear the television. I called *** *** ********************** that night, it was very cold, and we needed heat. I had shut off the emergency switch. He put the Burnet on and lubricated the circulator. He said it had seized up. He said next time p not to shut off the burner if it started making the loud noises and vibrations. He said it was under warranty. The circulator continued to make excessively loud noises and vibrations I kept calling him and leaving messages. We weren't getting heat, and hot water. Workers came and stated the bolts were broken on the circulator and replaced them. This went on till March 9, 2024 when the circulator no longer was functioning. I called ********************************* and told his office representative that we were freezing and had no heat or hot water. I told her to have *** ********************** call me a0nd I also called his cell phone. *******. his office representative called and told me that ************************* wad going to get the circulator assembly from the warehouse. I called every day.He called me back and stated the warehouse did not have the circulator and that it was being back- ordered. He said it would take a few days. It was freezing in the house. I kept calling him. He then stated he had the part and it would be installed the following Monday. I waited all day no one came ir called. I called his cellphone and called his office. I spoke to ******** in his office. Other appointments were made, and no one showed up. This went on for three weeks. My brother and I had no heat or hot water.
