***************** of DDC Builders aka *********** Construction was hired to rebuild our house after a fire. We paid for the foundation, footings and slab. **** kept coming up with excuses as to why they couldn't pour the slab, i.e. ground is wet, concrete company has no drivers. We paid for framing when **** said the framing passed inspection, and we later found out that it did not pass inspection. We paid for 25 windows We received 5 of them. He installed them with no flashing. We later found out that he never ordered the remaining windows, but for 2 months he kept telling us they were back ordered. When we confronted **** about our concerns, he stopped communicating. We worked with the sub contractors that he hired and were told by the electrician and plumber that he was not paying them either. The concrete company also told us that they were never asked to finish the job. We paid all the subs directly and kept the project moving forward. The framing cost us an additional $55,000 to fix as he did not follow the plans. He undersized the headers, did not brace the walls, all LVL beams had no steel plates, no cross bracing, etc. The windows he did install had to come out and were reinstalled correctly. There were multiple other issues. We ordered the windows from the same place he was using and received them in 2 days. Do not trust this contractor. He does not know how to follow blueprints, and we believe his intention from day one was to never finish the job. I would like the $45000 I spent and have receipts for to correct the problems that ***************** left me with. I already paid him for these items pour footings, slab, Re  framing to match blueprints, windows.
