      I actually ran a school fundraiser with save around. Lucy was our wrap and we sold the books in March and delivered all the books out to those who ordered. We sold 25 books only to find out that the people who ordered the books are having all of their coupons rejected because they are saying that they were never asked to participate in or gave permission for these fake coupons to be made. I reached out to the company to find out where the legal agreements are because ****** says they don’t participate and yet ******’s is on the savearound app. All of the occupants that are specific to your ZIP Code are not working and they will not be taken by vendors. We sold the books for $25 apiece and I feel like our customers got ripped off. Scam! The apps and coupon books are book being rejected. One company even wanted to know where the coupon books came from so they could reach out to the company and then report them.

      All merchants that participate in our programs do sign legal agreements to do so.  Those agreements are between the merchant and us, we can not share the agreement with the public as they are proprietary.  If there is an issue with one merchant as stated in this complaint, we would ask the complainant to contact us and advise us of the issue and include the full address, time and day and the coupon they are attempting to use.  Some coupons have restrictions and can only be used at certain times. This individual, although they did do a group fundraiser with a rep, did not contact the rep to advise of any issue.  As we are just learning of this issue with this complaint we do ask to advise of us of the full details surrounding this claim. We need further information before we can proceed as the book this particular group sold were our National coupon books.  We do not have a ******'s coupon listed in our National edition.  You can see the merchants in our national edition by going to this link - *********************************************** and viewing the book.

      Hello. In or around October 2023 I ordered 3 2024 savearound books. I received 3 2023 books. Thinking this was a simple error, I emailed savearound and asked for the correct ones. They did not respond. These books expire at the end of 2023. They have no value to me. Please send me the correct books. 3 2024 books.

      Unfortunately, we do not have an order, nor any communication from ******** **********. We do have however, an order for ********* ********** at the same address listed as the complainant.  However, we have not received any communication from ******** **********.  Assuming this is the order in question, upon review, we find ********* placed an order for 3 2023 Greater Milwaukee SaveAround Coupon Books on September 12, 2023.  As you can see in the attached documents an order confirmation is sent detailing the items ordered - 3, 2023 books.  Upon shipping another email confirmation is sent again detailing what is included in the shipment - 3, 2023 books. As that is what ********* ordered, that is what she was shipped.  As we do completely understand how she may have placed an order for the wrong item, we would be happy to exchange the 2023 books for 2024 books.  Simply return the unused 2023 books to us along with your receipt and state you are asking for an exchange and we process that request for you. Thank you.

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The business is correct. My wife ********* did place the order. I will pack up and mail in the 3 books. They do have a few coupons taken out of them.       I was sold a save around coupon book, and the coupons aren’t accepted at the businesses in the book. I feel as though I have been scammed and would like a refund for my unused book.

      We are sorry to hear the customer is not happy with the coupon book.  If the customer were to contact us directly, we would tell her to simply send her unused book back to us for a full refund. Please send the book along with her name, address and what fundraising group she purchased the book from. Thank you.

      Small business trying to keep up with these hard times. Keep getting these coupons which i never authorized from savearound. Tryied calling and emailing. No response. Im told this is for advertizing but giving a free meal is not easy for small business. Atleast ask the business what discount they want to offer.

      This is a complaint for Savearound and ****** in Carrollwood Tampa Savearound coupon book and ****** in Carrollwood Tampa ****** restaurant wont accept coupon savearound book. has their specific address on it says did not authorize coupon to be in book and wont accept it I bought 6 books from Savearound and want a refund if ****** wont honor their coupon

      This customer has not contacted us to discuss this complaint.  The only ******* location that is listed in the Tampa SaveAround book is ***** ** **** ***** ****, Tampa, FL that is the only participating location. We do not have a location in Carrollwood therefore, that location is not required to honor the coupon.  Please advise the customer to visit the location listed on the coupon.

      I contacted SaveAround in December 2021 via email about a concern regarding merchants stating SaveAround’s coupons being unauthorized. I was brushed off via an emailed response about looking into the issue and the reassurance that these were authorized coupons. I then bought 2 - 2022 coupon books from this vendor. As I’ve tried to use some coupons throughout the year I have been repeatedly denied the coupon deals as the merchants are all saying these are unauthorized coupons. I believe I’m up to 6-7 merchants that I remember being denied. This is embarrassing as a customer to keep being out through this. I normally would just want to warn others about the legitimacy of SaveAround but as I contacted them a year ago and was reassured they were not fraudulent coupons and was just a miscommunication with a few specific vendors I then invested more money into this companies product and feel I deserve a full refund as I have not been able to use any of the desired coupons. I do not have specific dates except for the last 2 merchants. On November 28, I went to ******* ***** **** on Bluemound Road in Brookfield, and was told the coupon was unauthorized. On Friday, November 25 I went a *********s on Kossiw Road in Waukesha and was told the coupon was unauthorized. In the last few months I’ve also went to **** ****** **** ****** **** ******** and ******* *** and was told these coupons were unauthorized. There have been a few other places too that I don’t recall. I would like a refund for the 2 - 2022 coupon books I purchased from SaveAround. I technically should get a refund for the 2 I bought in 2021 but I won’t go back that far.

      This customer contacted our office and our CSR team responded with instructions as to how to get a refund.  The customer contacted us in 2021 to which we responded.  On December 2, 2022 the customer contacted us (emails attached for reference) to state she wanted a refund on her 2 2022 books she purchased.  The books expire December 31, 2022.  We did not have any correspondence with the customer from December 6, 2021 through December 2, 2022.  Our CSR team advised her on how to receive a refund for those books, she simply needs to send in the unused books and we will gladly refund her.

      SaveAround sold me a (Toledo, OH) coupon book. The coupons were surprises to the vendors where I tried to redeem them. It seems as if SaveAround used the 2021 coupon book, changed the expiration date to 12/31/2022. They never approached the vendors to seek renewals. Some of the vendors were out of business entirely. It has created some embarrassing encounters where I have tried to redeem a coupon from their book. It wasn't until I recently tried to redeem a buy 6 donuts, get 6 free at **** ****** in Toledo, that the clerk showed me a sign they posted at the counter that they will not honor the coupon, because they never agreed to offer it. They kindly offered a 10% discount. At this point, after having a few encounters like this one, I decided to contact this company, and they refused to offer a refund. It amazes me that they get away with this. They misrepresented a coupon book- shipped it over state lines, which should make it a federal offense.

      Mr. ******** contacted our office in regards to merchant non honoring complaints.  We responded promptly to his email as you can see by the attached files.  All of the merchants that we print in our coupon books are required to sign a legal agreement.  We can not print a merchant or their information, without a signed legal contract.  If a merchant does not honor their agreement with us, we then will discuss that with the merchant to come to a resolution and find out the cause behind the non honor. If a merchant establishment closes after we have printed our books we unfortunately can not remove them as the merchant is already printed.  This year we do have some merchants facing some really hard times, as costs have risen so greately in order for a merchant to survive they must alter their prices.  In doing so, there are instances where the offers they asked for us to print for them they just can not honor however, they have agreed to offer another discount in place of the printed discount.  When this happens we will provide the merchant with signs to post to alert customers prior to ordering that their coupons would be honored for another offer. Mr. ******** stated he wanted us to refund him for 2 books, however, he only paid for 1 book.  We advised him we would certainly refund him if he was not happy by simply returning the unused book to us and we would refund him the amount he paid.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They never offered a refund. The merchant tld me they never signed an agreement. They acknowledged that customers are not getting what they paid for. As I mentioned, it isn't all about the money or the lost value.       As the attached pdf file states, the customer was told to return his unused books and we would provide a refund.  Please advise the customer to return the unused books and we will refund him his purchase price.  Also, as previously stated, all of the merchants that participate in our programs sign agreements to do so.  If a merchant elects to not honor their agreement, we will contact them to resolve the issue.  Once the issue has been resolved, we contact the customer to advise them of the resolution.

      5/18/22 ordered one book for $25 with 4 free. Was charged $50. On 6/27/22 was told $25 would be refunded. Have not received refund. I purchase book every year. Order No. *******.

      When the customer placed the order, she added 6 books instead of 5 to her order which resulted in the balance due of $50.  The customer emailed us to state she ordered the buy one get 4 free and to inquire as to the charge of $50.  We responded back to the customer she ordered 6 books not 5 and that we would remove the 6th book and refund her the $25 as you can see on the attached pdf file of the email correspondence. We were not made aware by the customer that she did not receive the refund of $25, she did not contact us to alert us.  I have reprocessed the refund of $25 for her.

      Mr. ***** has been a valued customer since 2017, utilizing our coupons books and mobile app as you can see by the attached documentation.  This year, 2022, is the first complaint we have ever received from Mr. *****.  As we stated to Mr. *****, we value his feedback and we do contact every merchant we receive a non honoring complaint on.  All of the merchants that are in our programs sign agreements to do so.  If a merchant makes a decision to not honor their agreement, we will work with that merchant to come to a resolution. There are instances when a business changes ownership or management changes and the new staff are not made aware of the agreement with us.  We also are aware due to the influx of food costs this year, alot of merchants are struggling to offer discounts and as our books are already printed we can not remove a merchant if they ask to be removed until the next printed edition.  The merchants are aware they have agreements and should be honoring their agreements until the expiration date of such. Regarding Mr. *****'s complaint we have offered to send replacement coupons to him to use for other merchants while we work to resolve the issues he reported. Thank you.

      I ordered through their website a coupon book for Dayton Ohio area on January 1, 2022. I paid for it in full through there website as well. My order # S-*****. On January 22, 2022, I received an envelope from them that only contained a receipt and a piece of cardboard, no coupon book. I emailed them and got no response. Would like my coupon book or a full refund.
