    The worst business practices. Placed an order on Saturday. Was given a window of 1-3 business days. Called back the following Thursday to be told Ive been scheduled a week and a half after I made the order. Nevermind it being winter, the holidays, and the 3 day window I was given. To h*** with my babies in the home. Guess well get oil when we get it. Place is a joke. COD.. cash of delivery? They already pre authorized my card to make sure they get paid regardless. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

    Though codfuel offers decent prices for the fuel, I experienced this time that the quantity of oil delivered was less than what was ordered. Looking at the historical usage at our place, our one fill lasted for minimum 3 months (looking at 5 years history) This time when we ordered with codfuel, Some new company named "OV OIL **** did the job and the same oil lasted for less than 2 months when we didnt have the severe cold. We earlier had fill done by JMB, Friends, ******, etc and it was seemless experience. For this i would rate it 2*

    OV Oil is not a new company, in fact, they are our most reliable suppliers in your area and they have been with Codfuel since 2012. Perhaps a more scientific approach to your fuel usage would be better before giving a good company a bad public review.

    The worst!! Ordered Oil on last Monday morning delivered 7 days later the next Monday. I ran out of Oil Sunday morning. A year ago I tried COD Oil it took nearly as long Never again . The website that says 2-3 days for delivery, DON'T BELIEVE IT, The fine print somewhere says up to 6 BUSINESS DAYS. Good prices, BAD SERVICE.JR North of ******.

    What ever you do don't leave review that's not perfect cuz owner will cancel your account with out you knowing so when you go to purchase oil it won't happen.Owner is very ***** not a good business man he may have some good reviews but don't be fooled there are many other companies doing same thing.

    We have almost ****** reviews from real customers with an average rating of 4.9 stars. This gives us more reviews than all oil companies combined. We do not cancel accounts if we receive a less than perfect review. If you leave a review stating our business is terrible and you will think twice about using us again, why would you want to do business with us again? Apparently, the others you claim can do what we do are not the same since you tried to order from us again despite your comments. Please understand, that unnecessary derogatory statements hurt people and the families that rely on us to feed their families. In addition, it hurts our customer who rely on us to be able to offer low oil prices. The more customers that we have, the better oil prices can be. We employ a 3rd party review company so we remain transparent. Only customers that actually receive oil deliveries can leave a review, not like fake ****** reviews where anyone can leave a review. Leaving your account open to drag our good name through the mud is not helping the rest of these wonderful customers and employees.

    Run while you can! I have been using this company for years but during the coldest weekend of the year I had an order placed for this weekend..... the coldest one of the year... and the oil company delayed my delivery twice... not a big problem as long as they delivered the oil.... the mesage I received on the website ordering history indicated that if I wanted to cancel my order I should reach out to the oil company but since I needed the oil I did not want to cancel the order and reached out to the company website. **** ******, the owner, responded to let me know that there was an error that the oil company put my order in for the wrong day... but then they delayed the deivery again and when I asked about it 5 more time... **** ignored me over and over... extremely poor customer service that left me as a customer hanging out to dry... now it is days later and I still have not heard from them... I had to order oil from another cod company... I will NEVER use COD Fuel again... run while you can!

    This is an inaccurate review. I answered his email 21 minutes after he sent it at 8:41pm, long after the office was closed. I reached out to the oil company immediately and they put it on the delivery schedule for the next day. I only received one email from this customer. It was answered and I apologized for the original error from the oil company. They put his delivery on for 2/4 instead of 2/3.

    Codfuel.com has no control over errors made in other offices. It was quickly rectified. It amazes me how after 12 years of service, one error and we earned a one star rating and he tells people to
    run from my business. In today's world nobody takes responsibility for their own faults, they immediately try to diminish another person's business and hurt the hundreds of people who put food on their table off of my service.

    I answer every email and I do it 7 days a week for 16 hours a day.

    I do everything possible to help our members, including reminders that the weekend was going to be frigid and to order oil in advance. 50 gallons does not last a week in these temperatures. Perhaps better preparation would have been key here. I accept that the oil company delayed a day. Even if it was 2,3 or 4 days, it's already too late. The tanks was run down too low. An oil tank should not go any lower than 1/4 tank. Running down to the bottom on the coldest days of the year only makes things worse. We had dozens of oil trucks with frozen brakes. Everyone did the best they could. We always do.
