Gateway property solutions managed the last rental unit that I rented. I moved out on June 1st of 2025. I was told that my deposit would be returned in full by Jake ( one of the property managers). I contacted the office multiple times and left multiple messages. I spoke to Jake on Monday, and he said it should have been mailed already. Jake is also the one that is suppose to mail me the money because he claims to be the owner of the house. I have been living at one of that properties since June of 2024. The unit has old carpet that smell of animal waste when it is hot animal. I kept receiving a fluctuating bill when my schedule is pretty much the same. I contacted national grid and I was on a shared meter. I was harassed by the downstairs tenants who are friends with Jake. I was only allowed to have the heat on 68 degrees. The utilities were in my name and still the thermostat did not work when I operated it. The heat and refrigerator can be controlled by the first floor unit. I was given to space heaters that did not heat up the room in below zero temperatures. These people are slum lords and racist and evil as hell. My mail was constantly stolen by his friends, my cameras were constantly tampered with by Jake’s friends ( downstairs neighbors). I was locked out of my apartment by the first floor tenants and was never given a second key to the second lock that was on the door in the front. My back doors worked after I asked for locks but was never giving a key to the upstairs back door. These people should be monitored by the government immediately. It is almost July and I still have not been received my security deposit. I have to seek legal assistance and media coverage when they have way more than $1,000. Gateways abuses the law and takes advantage of customers. Please look into their corrupt individual. I can only imagine how people they robbed in this small town.

Gateway is charging me falsely for cleaning/labor of an apartment I moved out of. I left that apartment cleaner than it was when I moved in and they didn't have time to do a 'Walk-Thru' AFTER I moved out seeing the apartment empty and clean. The original letter(bill) had errors, they corrected it being I MOVED OUT April 1st, but still only refunding me $100 of the $1000 security Deposit. Alexa Angel & Jake were the ones I was in contact with. I have tried to resolve with them-not satisfied.
