This issue started on 02/02/2025. I came into this dealership looking for a specific salesperson that I was referred to. I was connected to a different salesperson. When we sat down we asked him if there is someone Egyptian working there since we were referred to him. He said no one Egyptian works here and then looked at my mother and pointed out her accent and questioned our ethnicity. Later that day I connected with my uncle to confirm we went to the correct dealership and informed him that we were told that the individual he referred us to doesn't work there. He called and confirmed that he does work there and that we were lied to.The following morning, I received a call from the salesman asking if I was ready to pick up the car which I replied to saying yes. However, I asked him again about the Egyptian salesman that we were initially referred to. At that point he got extremely angry and started yelling and telling me that I am going to get him in trouble. I hung up the phone and called the branch and asked to speak with general manager. I was connected to another manager, not the **. I explained the issue on the phone as well as sent an email to the owner and the **. I then received a call from another manager apologizing and asking me to come in and that he will fix the problem. I believed him and traveled all the way there. After a long day for my mother and I we agreed on a deal for a car. I left a deposit of $500 to receive a call after almost a week of waiting to inform me that the car was sold to someone else. I am left with no car and lost money. The individual offered to give $500 for a rental for this period of time. I told him he could take the $500 off the vehicle since that was important to me and I will **** or figure it out for this short period to time. They have not refunded my deposit of $500 or given the other $500 for the rental. I took time off work and spent hours on the phone with them. During all of this they were rude and racist.Initial Complaint

08/10/2024 I went to Mercedes Benz of Massapequa to trade in my 2021 GLC 300 for a 2024 GLE AMG 53. I was told I had a negative equity of $20,00 thats needs to be paid for the remaining of the GLc value . I then was told I had to pay $5,000 for down payment for the 2024 *** . Money was given $10,000 cash and $15,000 check . Contract was made car was given . I was given a temp tag and registration until my plate were in process of transferring to the new car . It is now 9/25/24 my car has not yet been registered. My temp tag has been expired since 9/10/24 . I called multiple times in regards to the status . They said its been worked on . I called today 9/25/2024 asking for the status and they said I need to pay them $6,000 more . I then proceed to call the financial institution of ************* to get an explanation. They stated I do not owe them any money because $25,000 has been received. I then called to speak to the sell manger to ask whats going on and I keep getting placed on hold or an excuse that the manager is in a meeting . Im terrified and scared as Im driving a car in *** that is yet registered and the dealership are giving me the run around . Everyday Im getting pulled over and getting ticketed for operating a vehicle that is not legally registered. Nobody wants to connect me to the general manager. ************* financial institution tried to help me by resolving this matter by calling the dealership and he was also not able to get through to the manager . Im stuck paying a vehicle that is not legally drivable due to the contract with the dealership and the bank .Initial Complaint

I was advised that I had a deductible that was ******. I was told by the service rep *********** that the payment of ****** would count towards it and that upon return it would be the balance owed minus the deposit. Once my car was looked at I was told i needed a new compressor and that he would then, " contact my warranty" and see what they are willing to pay. I advised him that If my warranty covers a compressor and that if they hike up the price, I would not be able to receive service her as I only have ****** to give. He advised me that usually the warranty department works with them. When he called me back he was requesting an additional ****** and that my warranty only gave them ******* when in fact when i called they offered them a full *******, and the warranty department said they added on more things and I wasn't even told about it after the fact. When I requested my money back, I was told they did a service. When I asked what service? **** stated Freon. I told him It could not be ***** as I just got Freon 24 hrs ago. Then when he realized that.. All of a sudden, he says " oh, maybe you had a leak" All lies, then he hung up the phone on me once he realized I was on to him and didn't want the service from them any longer. I have received service and have purchased 2 cards with Mercedes Benz of Massapequa. However, I will never return there ever again! Please make this right.Customer Answer

I purchased a vehicle from Massapequa ******** in early April of 2024. I traded in my ********** Tiguan that ******** agreed to buy and pay off. I received a letter in the mail this week stating that there was a remaining balance that ******** did not pay off which was supposed to be paid off at the time of purchase of my new vehicle. I have contacted ******** numerous times this week and have not heard back with any plan of resolving this issue. I have been left with paying the remaining balance myself so no late payments end up on my credit. I hope that Massapequa ******** can reimburse me the money that I was forced to pay out of pocket.Initial Complaint

Mercedes Benz of Massapequa called to tell me that there was an emission campaign mandated by a settlement with the ** government and they were required to fix all emissions on my vehicle. I sent them the van, and when it came back and I took it on the highway the check engine light went on. I sent it back and they claim the engine died while they were driving it. The engine was dead. Now they are claiming I need a new engine which will cost $18000. They were ordered to fix the emission as part of a settlement. The van was working before they took it and they destroyed it. They refuse to take any responsibility for destroying my van. They claim it was a coincidence that the engine just happened to die while they were working on it.Initial Complaint

On November 4th we put down a $ 500 deposits on GLE350 with the salesman ******, he promised that we would get the car in two weeks and he will contact us within a week to update us on the status. We did not hear anything from him and tried to contact him many times without any success. Till this date we still havent received the refund nor was contacted regarding the car.
