Capital link management reached out to myself and family members on the same day. I called them. Made payment arrangements. When I attempt to reach them by phone or website they are unreachable. Have left messages with no return response. I need to hear from them. They continue to call family members but not me. They are causing me grief in my personal life. If they are legit then why harass family and not return my calls. The entire situation seems sketchy. I need to get this resolved. I am asking for the bbb help in this matter they aggressively contact family but don't return my calls.

Zach H sent me an agreement via email, which is attached. In the agreement it states a agreed upon amount, however they have pulled more than what the agreement states. I emailed Zach on 12/22/2023 stating they had drafted out more than the agreement with no response. I sent Amber a message on 01/10/2024 and she stated that she was out today and that she would have her supervisor reach out to me momentarily. This was at 7am and by 1pm, no response.

I received a call from an unknown number with no caller ID on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 and of course because it’s an unknown number I refused to answer those. I got a threatening voicemail from a company that did not identify themselves well and only said they were from CLM and contacting me about a legally required notice… They provided no information on who they were why they were contacting me and what this was about. After doing a cursory search online I found that it was this company and they are trying to collect the debt. however, they used threatening tactics by trying to contact family members whose information I never gave any company nor authorized them to call. They are harassing my family members and myself. I have sent a debt validation letter which they have not responded to and they cannot tell me who the debt is owed to or from or anything about that and have been very rude about the entire process. I would like them to stop and I would like the harassment to me and my family members whose information I did not authorize them in any way shape or form to use or contact to cease immediately. If this is not achieved there will be legal action based on this harassment. And before the company tries and response that it is well within the FDCPA… I am an attorney and I know the law and will use it to make these threatening phone calls to my family and myself cease forever.

On 12/29/2023, this fraud company withdrew 705 from my account. I never agreed on a settlement. I talked with a guy about a settlement, never agreed, said I would call back if I could afford it. It seems this happens often with this fraud company. The number is just a random guy, no company name. I am waiting on my phone recording that said I agreed to this settlement. I can’t wait to sue this company for fraud. I wish these guys would do all this stuff in person. It would be a lot better and more fun??. I also have asked for my debt validation letter.

I was contacted by a male with capital link regarding a collection account from 2021. The male and I agreed to bi weekly payments of $74. This company has continued to run my checking account numerous time without my permission. They have also search phones numbers on my relatives and continues to harass my younger sister who is currently 33 weeks pregnant with twins along with others in my family. I have screenshots of numerous phone calls from this company calling me with a no caller ID number and fake ****** voicemail numbers. I have tried to call all these fake numbers and have not gotten in contact with any one. I am looking to file a legitimate claim for harassing calls and running my checking account serval times a day without my permission. I have worked collections for over 13 years in the passed and I do know that their practice under the FDCPA is unlawful. There is no debt in the world that serious to call someone repeatedly and harass a pregnant women over something that is not their concern. I have phone bill records showing all the calls that come in from this company. Showing them calling me 7-10 times a day. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney generals office in the state that they are practicing in for harassment.

I received a call (again) saying they are from this business. Well, actually this time I received a text which was for sure nobody professional and that's when I should have known plus, the number I was supposed to call had an extra digit in it ? I call and the guy immediately knew because of caller id supposedly who I was and I said after he told me he was trying to garnish me for being behind on payments with ***** * ** loan company. I simply said well how do I know this isn't a scam again? ***** * ** confirmed that someone did try to scam me not too long ago. He proceeded to tell me my full social security number along with my bank account information without confirming who I even was and told me that I had to have been someone with the lowest iq he's spoken to in a few weeks. I was like how professional? He said all this after I said WHOA! How do you even know I am who you think I am? Someone could have stolen my phone or anything. I got off the call and immediately file a complaint to check and gos corporate office. After much research I reached out a little later to another number and requested to speak with a supervisor. The girl by the name of "Lynn" also talked down to me! I was like wow what is really going on right now? She tood me I need to take care of my debts and some other stuff that was irrelevant so fe she doesn't know me. She refused to put me through to a manager even. He phone numbers I have here are all associated with this "company" ###-###-#### ###-###-#### (Argyle , mn) which is the same place the confirmed scammers number came from the first time ###-###-#### ###-###-####

I have been receiving numerous phone calls from the business for a debt that is not for myself but an attempt to reach my father; voicemails left are of a male with an intimidating tone stating I am required to call back for a legal obligation. My father has stated he has reached out to this company and provided receipts that the debt has been paid. Today I received a text message regarding his debt and the number to contact. I unsubscribed and blocked the text number from this company. I do not know how they got my information; in addition these same messages are being sent to my mother who has been divorced from my father since 2012 and does not have any affiliation with him. In December alone I have received 4 calls now for him and 6 calls in November.

This company yesterday and today sent me a text with the following: “ Hello, this is our first attempt our office is seeking location information or contact information for ****** ******, Please Contact Mr.C******* at **************. Several family members received this text, today 2nd attempt, This is the first I’m hearing from them. This text violates the law in several ways. They do not identify who they are, Mr. C******* tells me nothing, no company name or reason, I had to search the phone online to figure it out. They do not state they are a debt collector and provide no details about the alleged debt. I read some reviews that they also call with using language that, to an average consumer, implies they are lawyers and that you are being sued is intended to scare consumers. This is clearly illegal.

This company has been harassing my family members. I have tracked down any possible debts or outstanding loans to try to figure out who has sold the debt to Capital Link and cannot figure out how to get a business address, email address, etc. I have no useful knowledge as to this debt; they have been searching for my family members online (even some who are sick and out of town) and harassing them. They have contacted step parents, cousins, parents multiple times a week (I have screen shots sent to me). This is absolutely maddening and absolutely not within the FDCPA guidelines, standards. I have been searching for a decent lawyer to help me with cease and deist. This just cannot continue: for any business to harass sick family members for maybe a couple of hundred of dollars. If I was able to speak to a decent human being, I will resolve whatever this is. However, given the reviews of this company taking unauthorized money out of bank accounts, there is no way I will allow them to take payments on this. This just has to stop!
