      We had Meerkat perform pest control services at our house in the past, on the last visit I was not home and they swindled my wife into agreeing to a 1-year contract term which was not explained to her at the time. She assumed she was signing for the services being performed that day only. After I found out I called and cancelled the contract with Meerkat after their first visit, only to later find out this was not completed on Meerkats end after that phone call.
      A technician showed up at my house this morning after I texted and left a voicemail not to provide any services as the account was closed. The visit was not scheduled or authorized by us. After speaking with patrick lasch his only advice was "well you should have read the contract". The contract was displayed on an iPad held by the technician outside, and my wife was holding a newborn baby in her arms – not exactly an ideal environment to read a contract, especially with the smell of whatever chemicals they just sprayed around the house are lingering in the air.
      We were first offered a $225 cancellation fee which I explained was not acceptable. We eventually landed to two additional services at $185 each to fulfill the contract, however I still feel we were treated very poorly. I will not be using Meerkat again and will be advising anyone I know not to use them in the future.

      Myles did an amazing job helping us today at our (very) old home. We tried all the DIY tricks, but couldn’t get rid of wasps, flies, and mice. Myles did a thorough inspection, found the source of the problem, and presented a comprehensive plan to address the issue moving forward. Myles took the time to clearly explain what needs to be done and why. It’s such a relief to have taken this step. Thank you, Myles!
