    On January 6, 2022 I purchased two tickets for an event called Lights over America totaling $267.85. The event was held in PA on 6/4, I was informed a few days before that I was not eligible for the event due to being a NJ resident. At the time of purchase I was going back and forth between NJ and PA. Lights over America offered to transfer my tickets to a NJ event which I accepted. The event was to be held in New Brunswick, NJ in early September. I was agreeable, I was informed a packet will be received in the mail. I have followed up multiple times closer to the event and was left with no response, the event was then removed from their website. I have contacted them multiple times through emails with no response, can provide confirmation for emails send. There is no phone number to contact at this time.

    The transaction was placed July 4th to attend a lantern festival. I paid for two general admission tickets and a parking pass totaling $251.14. Lights over America website said they would release the location of the event the week of the event and never released that address to us over email or anything. It’s the day before the event and they have not called any rescheduling or changes to anything on either their website, instagram page or Facebook page. We booked an Airbnb as well for this event and nothing has been moved to release where the location of this event will be.

    We bought tickets in June for the Lights Over America event taking place on September 17th 2022. We activated our tickets within a week (like it says on the website to do) and bought a parking pass. They claim they send an email out the week before giving everyone the address for the event. We did not receive that email. So we contacted them multiple times and they told us that “we did not buy tickets” so that we were not getting the address from them. When we sent them our tickets and proof of purchase, they blocked us and refused to answer us. We tried reaching out on social media but they turned comments off all of our posts. We are also seeing hundreds of others with the same problem, and claiming they are a scam. We want a refund as we spent almost $300 on the event, and followed all of their rules. There is no reason we should not be given the address for the event or atleast a refund. We tried being nice about the situation because originally we did not even want a refund, we still wanted to go to the event! This event was a surprise for my girlfriend, because it was always her dream to be taken to a lantern festival, and I planned on proposing at the event. I’m heart broken. Please let us know if there is anything you can do, even if that’s just shutting down the company so others don’t get scammed. We will also include pictures of our tickets and the email confirming our purchase if that helps. Thank you guys so much for taking your time to read all of this.

    I purchased tickets on 2/15/22 for an event with lights over America. In Houston for 9/10/22, total package was $645.60. Over the summer I received emails saying I needed to activate my passes. I went to their website, https://www.lightsoveramerica.events/
    And activated my passes multiple times, emailed multiple times to confirm the activation with no response. Finally a week before event I realized there was no address for the event; which at this point I found no phone number to contact them. Again emailed multiple times through their website. I filed a scam dispute with the credit card company on 9/7/22. When I finally got a response I was told I didn’t activate my passes! I replied and received a response stating it was for security I activate the passes and that I would also need proof of a “perm real ID”. This is a well developed scam that needs to be shut down!!

    I paid $175 for the lights festival event which is held by lights over america and i paid since 02/12/2021, they kept delaying the event. Until now i didn't receive any news or updates about the event, they said they gonna update about the event on 2022 but still no updates until now. I already sent them an email like two times asking about it but no response at all, to be honest i felt like i just got scam. Please help me out with this issue.

    My event tickets were canceled without refund. I purchased the event tickets. The name of the event is SKY LANTERN FESTIVAL PLYMOUTH MASSACHUSETTS. Order number is *********, order date is July 6. Actually, the event was for MA resident only, so I was told that I was not eligible to attend because I was CT resident, and they did not refund. I did not know the event was for MA resident only. because their website did not describe that eligibility on top part of the webpage where purchase button located (the eligibility description was located far under purchase button), and no eligibility information was described through my purchasing process even in terms and condition. Thus, I believe that main reason I overlooked the eligibility description was due to their poor website design, not my ignorance, and I would like them to refund.

    Date of transaction: 5/9/22 through etix.com, 645 dollars for lantern lighting festival in poconos PA Jun 4, 2022. Was told we couldn't attend because we were NJ residents. Wouldn't give refund but I was told to exchange tickets for NJ event. When I tried to do so for New Brunswick Sept 10, they won't tell me how to exchange the passes. Sporadic email communication. No contact phone number. I searched online and many are saying they are a scam in many states. Terrible customer service at best; fraudulent business practice at worst. I have filed complaints with FTC and NJ State AG office consumer affairs.
