On Monday 11/11/2024, I purchased 3 tickets totaling $119.97 for the All Black Comedy Show located @ *******************************************. The tickets were to attend the 8:30pm show. Mid-Show, the fire alarms began to go off, and there was an auto-message stating the alarm had been triggered, and the incident was being investigated. About 15 minutes into the alarm, guests began exiting the theater. The host, and star comedian offered free tickets to an upcoming show which I would not have been able to take advantage of, as I was flying home the following morning. I emailed the venue with the following.. " Good morning,I bought 3 tickets for the 8:30pm Black Comedy show on Nov 11. During the show, the fire alarm was tripped and resulted in a need to end the show. The comedian and host were really nice, offering free tickets for the next show, however I would not be able to take advantage of that offer because I fly out today. Are you offering any refunds for those of us that are unable to take advantage of future shows"Thank You ******* I received the following response from the venue."*******,No, we are unable to offer refunds however we can extend the rain check for up to two years. Let us know if you would like to take advantage of the offer and we can send you the booking information. Thank you,--******** V Theater I feel this response is unacceptable, as the venue should be refunding guests who are unable to take advantage of immediate shows due to technical difficulties.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/28/2024

The fire alarm was triggered at the ****************** around 9:45pm on the night of the show. The show runs from 8:30pm - 9:45pm.  Guests were not asked to leave, as an emergency had not been confirmed. The alarm was cleared shortly afterwards. Guests received the show almost in it's entirety,  and were still offered the opportunity to reschedule the guests for another date and even extended the offer to a two year period. This was not a technical error, this was a public safety matter that was quickly cleared. We did not receive any additional questions after the initial response to this request and thus considered the matter resolved. The offer is still available if ******* would like to reschedule the show another time.
