On September 26, 2023 I(****** ******) went to CorrectMerch located inside the ****************** with a pair of **** off-white vapor max shoes size 12 valued at $1000 and spoke with the owner(*** *******) about consigning these shoes. He gave me the information on how consignment works. Which the details included the shoes would be up for sale in his storefront and once they sold that they keep their percentage and pay me the remaining balance. He then set me up on the online consignment portal with a log in and password so I would to be able to access and track my inventory. All this was agreed upon and a contract was presented. Fast forward to October 2024 I noticed my online inventory had not moved and had no money in my portal. I decided I wanted to remove my shoes from consignment and take them with me. I went to his storefront and requested my shoes to be picked up. He stated he would need a small amount of time to get the shoes from inventory in the back. I returned 7 hours later and he said he couldn't find them and would need to wait until his "consignment" employee showed up, and that he would ship them out next to me since I was headed back home. The next day he texted me and said he found them and asked for shipping address. Now were almost a month since that text and signs of my shoes returning, and now he fails to respond to text and phone calls. After doing some research it as been brought to attention that this isn't the first time of this happening. Multiple reviews of people being scammed by this business. Something needs done to this business to stop him. I have screenshots of texts from the owner directly himself, and screenshots of my inventory registered to my name in the online consignment portal as additional proof if needed. This guy is going to continue of not stopped.

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally open a case regarding a consignment store named Correctmerch. In July 2023, I sent nearly 80 items to Correctmerch to be sold on consignment. Initially, the owner, ***, was prompt with payouts for sold items and demonstrated great attention to detail. However, since the beginning of 2024, communication has drastically declined. *** has been extremely slow in responding to my inquiries and has delayed payouts significantly. Over the past month, I have repeatedly requested the return of the remaining 60 items currently on consignment. Despite these requests, I have received only empty promises about when these items will be shipped back to **** have attached a document exported from Correctmerch's consignment portal, detailing the items that were sent. Additionally, I provided *** with a shipping label about a month ago, yet he continues to make excuses and has not shipped my items.I regret having to escalate this issue to the BBB, but ***'s unreliability and lack of communication leave me no choice. I urgently need my items returned.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Correct Merch is a consignment based retail store. They owe me and other consignors money for sold items, and they refuse to ship inventory back. I have been contact with them since last September, and I am still trying to get my items back. Because they have done this to multiple people, they should have their license suspended until they return all items and payout the amount owed for shoes and streetwear sold or lost at their location.

Shipping items back does take time, because we are located in the middle of the *************** and no Post Offices do pick up on *********** it is difficult to drop everything and ship items back. Our hours are 10-9 daily, so getting to the post office is a process. ***** has received all her items back, and we never said it would be an immediate turnaround for getting items back.
