5 starsI just took a leap of faith and started my own salon in a new city and really had to start from scratch when it comes to my clientele. Gorilla has been able to put me in touch with new families who have recently moved to the area who are needing to find their new permanent personal needs. 5 starsThey have been great. Installing fences in the winter is obviously a hard sell and I usually have to cut down on my costs during these months. They have worked with me by lowering my cost and allowing me to pause certain parts of my marketing to fit my budget. I have still been able to get my company’s name out so I will have new business come springtime with the option of adding back in my paused portion of marketing. 5 starsThey are great!!!! My business tends to slow down in the colder months since my business is primarily a lawn care company in the Midwest. They helped me get the word out to my neighbors and community that I was available for snow and ice removal in the winter months. 1 starDO NOT work with this company. They ignore their clients requests and wait till the day after policy cancelation to response to you so to get another month payment ut of you. during the months I attempted to work with them the only assistance I could ever get was when I told them I was ready to cancel. They would make promises and then not fulfil them. Then hold off contact for cancelation till a required next month payment would be processed. . No customer service and no one that stands behind the product that they sell. Total waste of your marketing dollars.Gorilla Direct Marketing LLC

Hi Rhiley, we are very sorry to hear about your frustrating experience, as we take these situations very seriously. We obviously record all communication between both parties for your protection as well as ours. We have checked our records of all communication between you and GDM. 7/21/23 You signed up, completing the Welcome Aboard call. This includes a complete layout of your program verbally and in writing so there are no grey areas about timing of the program. Without a customer agreeing to everything verbally and in writing, we will not move forward. 8/22/23 You spoke with customer service and were made aware that your telemarketing would begin 09/06 as stated during your onboarding process. 9/28 You sent an email to cancel services, but when speaking to customer service we agreed to do a double mailing at no extra cost in an attempt to retain your business, which was agreed upon. 10/17 You sent an email requesting to cancel again. We reached out immediately, and got voicemail 10/17, 10/18, 10/19, and left a message with the receptionist on 10/20. 10/23 We were finally able to connect and made adjustments to your program at no cost to you to retain your business once again. 11/17 You spoke to customer service regarding PNC rates so we switched your program to commercial which included a new design, new data generation, new scripting based on the SIC codes of your choice, at no cost to you.12/15 We received another email requesting to cancel, in which we reached out to you everyday to no avail, until finally receiving another email 12/29. We were able to speak with you twice in which you hung up on us both times. There was much more communication between both parties, we can share all communication in writing as well as call recordings if that would help. We would be more than happy to help in any way possible in order to come to an agreement. Please let us know how to proceed,Review fromCameron H

1 starThis really should be 0 stars. This company seemed like a good idea. Of course I'll say things are great in the beginning because it seems like a good idea and my initial experience is okay at the start. I paid the first month with the understanding that it was month to month but not understanding that its automatically drafted, that I would see nothing from the money I wasted, and that it was such a hard time cancelling. I rarely heard from anyone and had to send emails and non returned calls to get updates. May 3rd, I called because they charged me less than 30 days later still with nothing to show for what I paid for and at this point it's 2 months of payments they got from me. I still have no idea if a single mailer was sent out. When I called to cancel, I asked for a refund because of my experience of nothing from them. She told me that I could not get my money back. She told me I should have cancelled 10 days ago which meant I should have cancelled when I was waiting for the mailer to be completed. Well, when my mailer was still being made, I didn't know that I would get absolutely nothing from them or that they would take money from me within 30 days! I believe their tactics are to get money from people and when they have nothing to show for it, they use the old they can't guarantee tactic to justify what they do. They need to communicate, have customer friendly policies, better service and processes. I honestly think the 5 star reviews are fake. I want a refund! Anyone that pays for a service they don't get and are totally dissatisfied should get a refund! It's just how you handle customer service for your customers. It just makes me think this company is a scam. If they aren't scammers, they should run the business like one. I want a refund and when you reply, call me and I want to speak to the owner or a manager that can give me a refund and not just a rep.Gorilla Direct Marketing LLC

Thank you for your feedback, Ms. *******. As you are aware, everything we do is recorded for the protection of both parties involved. Our records indicate that on 4/6/2023 you signed up for our 3 Touch Program which involves direct mail and telemarketing. You completed our onboarding process that lays everything out about your program in writing as well as on a recorded line with an onboarding specialist, which must be agreed to before moving forward. This goes over the timeline of when your mailing goes out each month, when your telemarketing takes place, policies, procedures, etc. 4/11/2023 you responded to the design team saying you like the artwork but requested one alteration which was completed for you. 4/17/2023 you called into customer service with general questions about your program, which was explained in detail. A follow up email was sent following the conversation, and at that point you approved your artwork/design. Your first mailing was sent on the 25th of April as discussed during the onboarding process/customer service call. 5/3/2023 we received a request to cancel, we offered several options to alter the program to see if it would help. Unfortunately, you declined saying it's due to budget issues. We proceeded with the cancellation and sent it to you in writing. At this point, all services have been rendered, we are more than happy to discuss via phone at your convenience. We can also provide all documentation, all of the email/recorded phone communication for your review, if you would like. We attempted to call on 4/27/23 but sadly missed you and left a voicemail. We received another email from you on 5/3/23. According to our records we were able to speak with you 5/4/23 and assist you with your cancellation. Your account was closed, and you received your cancellation confirmation. Based on the recorded phone call our Management Team reviewed you were satisfied with the outcome and happy with Katie's professionalism. Unfortunately, after that call we received your negative BBB review so Katie reached back out as we thought your account was completed and satisfied. The company was able to get back to me and resolve the issue of cancellation. My only suggestion to this firm is to have more than one individual that handles the cancellation process. They have helped me get my name and agency noticed in my community with the postcards. And they even have a team of telemarketers calling everyone my postcards go out to. The customer service team is great! They have always answered the phone when I call and reply to my emails immediately.
