5 starsHad my first property purchase with RTR and I can't say enough about how smooth the process went from beginning to end. Big shout out to Melissa REMOVED from our first initial call and for your guidance every step of the way. She got me connected with a great referral lending partner as well and we just closed this past week. With that said the property manager has already alerted me that they have signed a new tenant already, so super excited about that. Shout out to @Zach REMOVED and the entire RTR team. Thank you for helping me get my first property!Review fromBhavin S

5 starsI just purchased a duplex in Texas with the assistance of RTR. The RTR platform is awesome giving you great choices in different markets. Zach REMOVED the CEO has created an excellent platform and tied up with various builders in different markets with best prices and incentives not otherwise available to independent investors. He also routinely conducts informative webinars on various topics to help new investors gain knowledge about investing. I am really very happy about the deal I received and would definitely recommend for any new investors to reach out to RTR for your next acquisition. I was assisted by Melissa REMOVEDthroughout the process from signing the contract until closing. Thank you Melissa for your knowledge and valuable insights. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your guidance.Review fromSamantha A

2 starsWe purchased two newly constructed duplexes (four doors total) through Rent to Retirement. Within the first 12 months of ownership, two of the four units resulted in evictions after ongoing rent payment issues.
During the process, the property management company acknowledged that one of the tenants had been placed into one of our units while actively fleeing an eviction. They explained that this occurred due to an internal oversight during their screening process.
Then, before the promised first year of complimentary property management was complete, both my partner and I received notice that the property management company would no longer be managing our properties because they were downsizing their client portfolio. As a result, the included one-year property management period ended early, requiring us to transition to a new management company before the agreed-upon term had concluded.
Rent to Retirement did contact us after we shared our experience. They expressed concern, attempted to determine whether they could help resolve the situation, and ultimately explained that they had already ended their relationship with both the builder and the property management company shortly after our purchase. While they were unable to directly resolve the issues, they did offer us a discount on a future purchase as a goodwill gesture.Review fromWeston K

5 starsMy wife and I are new investors and just closed on two properties with Rent to Retirement. Our investment strategist with RTR, Melissa, was super helpful through the entire process. She was quick to answer any questions and provide invaluable advice. I highly recommend Melissa and the Rent to Retirement team if you are wanting to get into real estate investing. It is obvious that they are here to not only help you find the best deals and incentives, but to teach you how to invest and analyze properties on your own. I also strongly recommend joining the RTR academy. It goes into depth on what real estate investing is and how to analyze properties as an investor. Zach Lemaster is a great teacher. He takes time to walk you through each step of investing.Review fromAustin P

5 starsI worked with Melissa at RTR as a first time investor and she was very straight to the point and thorough. She is great at laying out your options and giving the best advice for new investors, she even analyzed a property for me that was not listed by RTR. The first property we went under contract with ended up being an extensive waiting game due to HOA restrictions on repairing the outside of the property. We actually had no idea there was an HOA on this property as it was not disclosed by the seller, but Melissa, being the shark that she is, fought for me to get reimbursement for the lack of information. We ended up backing out of that deal and found another property that took less than 30 days to close on. The RTR team is great and they definitely do like to make sure you are getting the best deal possible.
I would also add that I joined the RTR academy and there is so much to learn about Real estate investing that you never would have known. It is expensive but there is incentives you get for life when you sign up like $1000 for every property you buy from them. There are also many great incentives that RTR offers for just buying their properties. My first property gets free property management for the first 2 years and I got $2500 back post closing.Review fromPreston L

1 starGot scammed by one of their “turnkey” contractors in Kansas City. The property had renters in it and property managers already lined up, so it seemed like a good deal. Turns out the contractor had been committing fraud, over inflated the rental income to make it seem like we would cash flow higher than it actually does, and they basically put lipstick on a fat ugly pig. The original tenant left without notice, leaving all of their belongings behind. The property management atrocious and we had to fire them. The worst part is we were left with a long list of maintenance issues, including foundation problems, with no hope of selling the property for what we bought it for. Rent to Retirement has been apologetic but has done nothing to remedy the issue. The contractor and partners are in jail and under investigation. Needless to say, this was far from turnkey and we trusted Rent to Retirement to deliver on their promise and business model. Shame on us for believing in it.Review fromJimmy R

5 starsRent to Retirement has completely transformed how I approach real estate investing. In just two months, I was able to complete a cash-out refinance on one of my properties and use those funds to acquire my fourth rental property—something that felt complex but became seamless with their guidance. They connected me with an outstanding lender who went above and beyond to ensure both transactions closed smoothly, and also introduced me to a reliable property management company now successfully managing my new investment. What truly sets them apart is how easy they make investing out of state—I was able to close both transactions remotely, from the comfort of my home, without sacrificing efficiency or clarity at any step. Their systems, network, and support turn what can be an overwhelming process into something streamlined and achievable. I’m extremely satisfied with the experience and confident this is just the beginning—I look forward to continuing to grow my portfolio with them and highly recommend their services to any serious investor.

5 starsMy experience with RTR started several years ago with two properties in Indiana, and overall, it was very positive.
Fast forward to current events... Late last year, I had another opportunity to sell an under performing property and sink this cash into something else, so I reached out to RTR again and started the process to find some more properties. Matt REMOVED reached out and after a little bit of looking we found exactly what I was looking for in two properties in TN. If we didn’t have to wait for the sale of my other property, Matt and his network would have had these two properties closed and cash flowing for me in less than a month!!! Even with the delays on my end, Matt and the other parties were more than helpful. Of course, I had a few questions along the way just due to fact that there were a few things that had changed with RTR and what different advantages for investors they offered, but he was there to assist with everything. For the people who will read this comment, please understand that this is an investment and there are risks associated with these investments, and I have invested in real estate outside of RTR as well. Furthermore, I can say with confidence that I have sustained far less problems with the properties that I purchased through RTR’s network than without. It is also important to note that the RTR team does not part ways with you once you complete a purchase, they continue to engage and offer their assistance to help you achieve whatever goals you may have.
Thanks again to Matt and his team, I will definitely stay in touch. CheersReview fromAmy J

1 starMy husband and I started working with Rent To Retire retirement after we attended BP Conn in Las Vegas. The whole pitch was that they identify areas across the country that are growing outside of suburban areas where you can invest your money, the renters take care of your mortgage, they are cash flow positive, and there is high demand for rent.
In addition to that, they throw in a kickback from the builder so that you can use those funds to apply them as a down payment towards the next property. They tell you that this will be paid out within 30 to 60 days max from the time you close on your house. Unfortunately, none of this is true. I live in Arizona, and they sold me on the house in Conroe, Texas.
The first month, the tenants had to be evicted. It now sits vacant, and we are being told that it won't rent for what Rent To Retire retirement told us it will rent for. This was a newer build (2023), and we were already asked to paint the entire inside of the house due to the damages from the tenants. Now we sit with a property unoccupied in Conroe, Texas, that we cannot rent for what Rent To Retire retirement told us we can rent it for, and it's been past 60 days, and we still have not received our kickback.
I was told that I was next in line and would be paid last week.
Then those funds didn't come, so I escalated it to the supervisor Mark, and now he tells me it will be paid by today, but he provides no detail as to why there's a delay. I would stay far away from Rent To Retirement if you actually want to retire!Review fromEric A

5 starsRent to Retirement was extremely helpful setting me up with a new construction home in Alabama. The process was quick and relatively easy. They also put me in touch with a finance and property management company. Everything they promised was delivered. I now have a new positive cash flow property a thousand miles away. I will definitely be using them again.
