On July 19 2022 city wide plumbing was invoiced#**** to fix a small sewer leak totaling $5900 to cut out concrete, build trench and replace existing pipe with *** material in foundation. (Special instructions on invoice)What was accomplished was cutting into concrete partially, no trench and not replacing any pipe under ground. Only installed two Fernco clamps on the *** pipe above the ground in the wall. In August ******* thousands of dollars was spent replacing the floor and returning the wall to normal On November 23 2022 city wide was called out to repair a giant sewer leak that had filled an area of 500 sq ft inside the house coming from the previous repair. They cut a hole in the wall, replaced one of the fernco clamps previously installed and left a hole in the wall. They were full of excuses that it was the fault of the frame being replaced underneath a clamp. Said it pushed the pipe up and somehow 4 months later it caused the other to fall off. (Clamp still doesnt touch the frame)I asked that it be replaced to all *** pipes like the invoice stated and was told that they cant cause it would have to replaced all the way up to toilet and its only new builds that get all ***. Contacted another plumber GOETL with the situation and was told that city wide plumbing are being lazy and its definitely possible to replace to all *** and they wouldve done cause the FERNCO clamps are unreliable. They also said they wouldve never left a customer with a hole in the wall again.I would desire a resolution of being refunded the full amount to go with a different plumberBusiness response
