    Run, Don’t Walk—Terrible Experience and Zero Accountability
    I strongly advise anyone considering this app to run in the opposite direction. I canceled within the first week, yet was still charged months later. After contacting customer service, I learned that multiple subscriptions had been created under the same email without my knowledge—all due to a confusing and poorly designed app interface.
    Despite reaching out for help, I continued to be charged for accounts I didn’t even know existed, and just got hit with another $99.99 charge for a service I never used. Their customer support failed to catch the issue the first time and offered no proactive help, even though it was clearly their system’s fault.
    This has been a frustrating, time-wasting, and expensive experience. There are plenty of better, more transparent apps out there—don’t make the mistake I did. Run.

    I responded to a LUMI face-book post. I chose the $19.99......membership on July 13, 2025. Request # 2801776.
    The guidelines/options were not clear. It was not clear that the membership went through. I went back to verify.
    Then on July 21, I had a debit on my bank account for $99.99 and $19.99 on my card.
    I did not select the $99.99 option. I have contacted LUMI twice and received responses that my memberships have been cancelled but no refunds can be given. Per Alex *****, Customer Care Team
    I am requesting that I get the refund of $99.99 immediately. I would never have accepted a membership for these fees and especially if the cost was $99.99.

    This business lures you in with an “introductory rate” membership to try their services, has you make an account and answer innumerable questions in order for their “service“ to pick clothing that is right for you based upon your answers. It took me over an hour to answer all the questions, and then the options given to me in my “personal style” minutes choices minutes later for their clothing had zero to do with anything I answered; not by color, not my body type, not by style choices, nothing. I immediately canceled, but then I was told — even though it was clearly evident no one had paid any attention to my answers to the many questions and that the item choices sent to me were simply stat choices for everyone –they would not refund the initial payment I had just made to them. So I paid them for absolutely zero. I get zero in return. Even though it was “only” $24 and change, I do not believe it is fair that I pay a company when it is clear there was no effort on their part to live up to their end of the bargain.. If it had been evident they had even attempted to come close, I would not mind. But they did not. They also have many bad reviews online for things such as this and others.

    BEWARE! I came across Lumi through my Instagram. I bought into the images and fell for the scam. I paid the membership fee and soon came to find out that none of the pieces I liked were available in my size. Secondly, many of the looks they advertise on the models look nothing like the actual clothing items they want to sell to you. I finally found 2 pieces I liked in my size and placed an order only to get an email later stating that these items were "Out of Stock." I wish I had done some research and had never wasted my money.

    Outfits advertised are cute. But you don’t get a “stylist” until after you buy and complete a long survey. I hated all the recommendations and immediately tried to cancel and get a refund. They canceled all recurring bills but refused to refund the initial purchase that they claim was clear, but it was not. This is what their response Hello, and thank you for getting in touch.

    Failed to ship my order for 3 weeks, failed to respond to multiple emails, issued a store credit that did not work and was not in full amount. Rude when they finally did respond.

    I wouldn’t give them a star they misrepresent what they provide I was charged a membership fee which I believed to be a subscription for a weekly clothing exchange once charged and into the site discovered very expensive over priced products that I had to purchase on top of the fees charged when I contacted the company to explain I misunderstood there company platform and requested a refund and cancellation I was told they don’t refund anything and basically too bad

    I wish I had checked with the Better Business Bureau re: Lumi before I signed up! Their terms are clear as mud. I spent $94, spent 30 minutes chatting with their stylist and will have NOTHING to show for it. It is not anything like Stitch Fix. Please learn from my mistake! Save your money. I wanted an outfit for my grandson's graduation and now I have nothing to show for my money. Buyer Beware!!!
