January 11th **** I received a horrific service by Furry Land Mobile. I have a standard golden doodle, he is 1 year old and very strong. I forewarned her about his strength. I was hoping as a 9 year experienced groomer as she claimed to be, she would know how to lure a dog safely and happy into her van. Absolutely the opposite, she pulled so hard on his neck he was gasping for air. I told her to stop pulling. He was making weird noises because he was restricted of air. I struggled to loosen her leash off his neck. At this point I should have stopped and cancelled this process, very stupid of me not to. Instead, I helped her put my dog safely in her van. Initial request was a bath and cut around eyes and ******** and cut mats around his head. I said no shaving his hair off. Nope again, I received a shaved dog, not just that, it included cuts and razor *****. I did not noticed these injuries until the second day. Heartbreaking to see my dog in so much pain and discomfort for days. I had to purchase relief medication for his injuries. So out of character, he is traumatized and not exaggerating. Absolutely horrifying service, I am in disbelief this company has anyone like this person representing them. In shock! No apology will remedy this nightmare. This person's abilities need to be reassessed.

8/3/2022 Flea infestation on my 11 *************** mixed terrier named "Lucky" (Please see detailed explanation of what happened.

      Customer response

      09/19/2022

I hired Furry Land *********************** in *********, ** to groom my small dog in August 2022. (Shampoo, haircut, nails, **** glands) I had no idea how many other dogs and cats had been groomed in their mobile van. I don't socialize my 11lb terrier with other dogs, and he has never had fleas or flea dirt.

I noticed little black spots came to the surface of his fur and he was covered with them all over his body. At first, I thought he brushed up against some tree or plants during our walk around my complex. Then I took him outside, and started to brush him with his brushes and a fine tooth comb. So much flea dirt came was on his brushes and *****.

Since there are no fleas in ****** and he has never had them, by deduction, I traced it to Furry Land and their mobile van. I reached out to them, and they gave me a bunch of ******* about how they clean they are and refused to take any responsibility or try to fix the problem. I paid $ 100 for the service, and asked them to perform a flea bath to kill any eggs or larvae. They refused again, and I had to buy a flea and tick shampoo from chewy.com and spent another $21.00. I'm waiting for it to arrive, so I can shampoo him myself.

Meanwhile, I noticed that they nicked his fur under his hind leg with the electric clipper. This company does not stand behind their work, and gives the customer a bunch double talk. I had no recourse but to file a complaint with bbb.org. Since Furry Land has mobile vans in the *********** area, I believe the flea infestation came from there. Furthermore, I read that it can take up to 8 weeks for the eggs and larvae to hatch! Fleas also jump from one host to another and to furniture, bedding flooring, etc.

      Thank you,
      ***********************

On April 10th 2022 I scheduled services to have my dog groomed. The groomer was specifically told by myself to not shave the dog. Seeing her inconfident I called the office to please emphasize to the groomer to not shave my dog. Upon completion of the services my dog was returned not only shaved but not complete. To avoid confrontation as this is a mobile groom at my home I paid for services and tip out of regret in the amount totaling $92.00. I contacted via text the manager upset and she offered a complete refund to go into effect that day. As of now I still have not received my refund in the amount of $92.00. I have called and texted multiple times and have been ignored. I have even gone as far as to go onto their website and schedule services but place in the comments to please have someone contact me or honor their word of a refund. No replies on Yelp or Google Reviews. I am requesting my refund of $92.00 and have proof of them stating they would honor it and never have. I feel ignored, lied to, and taken advantage of. I have all evidence pertaining to the event.
