I called **************** because my refrigerator went out (repair contract) on 2/8/2025 they sent out *** on 2/9/2025. A week went by and never heard from *** so I called them they stated waiting on American General; so I called American General and they said they are waiting on ***. I told *** that I have a brand new compressor that was not use from a year ago from a previous company and was told they could not use it. Needless to say they show up today with no parts over 3 weeks later and ask for the compressor that I had. I ask you said you were waiting on parts I have been without a refrigerator they said well we are here now and will the part you have.Business Response

The work order was transferred from the other contractor to us and we had to get an authorization from the insurance company first. As we are a third party and we never took a service fee from the customer, we can not do a refund.

I contacted my home warranty company on December 15 put in a request for the washer to be fixed. The guy came out first time ordered suspension for the washer came back and installed it. He left that same day. I contacted him back to state. It is still not fixedand they need to come back out. He came back out ordered another part came to install it and when he got here, he said that part he ordered would not work for the washer he needed to order something else that was on January 6. It is now January 21, 2025. The part is apparently still on order and I cant get a straight answer from the company. You can only speak to the call. center. They keep telling me the part is on order. I called on 1/17 and they stated they ordered another part on 1/15. My home warranty cant tell me any information either. I am now on week six of going to the laundromat. I wrote them an email on Monday the 20th and they still havent responded. They cant tell me what parts they ordered or when they will be in. The guy they sent with ADA repair has been here 3 times and doesnt know what hes doing.The ****** and yelp reviews are pretty close to my same issue.Business Response

The work order #********* was closed on 02/01/2025 and the Home warranty insurance has all the information. Because we are the third party, and we don't have a direct contract with the customer, I will recommend contacting their insurance company if they still have an issue with their appliance.

Yes that is correct it was closed as they couldnt fix the washer. They came out 5 times to install a new part which never fixed the washer. ADA Repair was sent to my house by American Home Shield, Dec 19th to repair a clothes washer. The washer timer was not working properly and bleach dispenser was faulty. Two techs arrived at approx. 1030 hrs. A trainee and a experienced technician. Upon inspecting the washer, they found a weakening suspension which was causing the tumbler to wobble excessively. The senior technician said he would request a full replacement of the suspension, but cautioned that *** will likely not approve the replacement until it breaks completely. Four days later it did exactly that, filling my laundry room with thick grey smoke. I called AHS to return and repair they dryer, AHS said since the diagnosis did not find any defective parts, they would not respond. After many calls to ***, they suggested to call *** and update their final report to include the notation of a weak suspension. *** said they could not and would not amend the report to include that notation of a weak suspension. Apparently, the tech did NOT include the notation of the weak suspension in the inspection report. *** said they considered the matter closed and suggested I call *** for a second opinion. After 3 days of negotiating with *** they agreed to send a second appliance repair company to evaluate the ********* complaint is the failure of *** to properly inspect my washer, report the correct findings and refuse to update the inspection report after the failure of the suspension.Business Response

We received the work order from *** and didn't collect any service fees from the customer. The case was reported to the customer's insurance for the next steps. You can get a full report from the **** If customer doesn't agree with our report they can always request a second opinion from their insurance.

They have been contracted to repair my refrigerator through American home shield they have been at my house 3 times they have allegedly ordered parts however I just want my refrigerator replaced at this point as I don't want to deal with either one of them. Hello, *** homr warranty sent sent us ***(all desert appliances) repair company to fix our appliance broken, our washing machine, not cleaning our dirty clothes, not cycling right,very loud noise since May2024. We didn't get to have somebody check till July,2024. 7/10/24 tech came,diagnosed. Didn't tell us anything. Tech said *** or *** will contact us of problem & fix. Many wks came did not hear anything from AHS or **** I Called **** still not telling us about problem& We called ********** don't know the fix either as they said, *** did not send report of info for the fix. Then we just see our case closed WITH NO SOLUTION for broken washing machine.Due to our demands from *** to have solution, they had *** comeback again to check, eval the washer. Same problem no solution. Same thing , nobody said anything about what problem & no solution. While we paid service fee with no fix? And no discussion on what the fix is? We asked *** to send another company, & still asked us to pay another service fee.Different company diagnosed the problem & ordering parts now to fix. What kind of business does *** do scamming people, jyst collecting service fee, with no communication about problem & no ********** just close the case & leave us customer hanging. Until now,9/20/24, problem is still there,Different company finally tring to fix it, ordered the parts (transmission problem). We're doing laundry at laundromat for months now.and this company offered no explanation or solution? This*** business should not scamming people just taking away service fees without offering solution. We never collected any money from the customer, so the request for $100 refund is misdirected. Customer paid that $100 to their home warranty per their contract agreement with them. So the refund request needs to be sent to their home warranty company, not us.
As far as us doing something or not with the customer's washing machine - we are bound by the home warranty coverages and authorizations. It is again, up to the home warranty to authorize repairs or not. Hope this clears things up.

I contacted American Home Shield on July 11, 2024, to request service on my washing machine, which was receiving an error message. They sent ADA Repair (Desert Appliances/All Desert Appliances) to my home. *** has been out three times, once admitting they ordered the wrong part, and on the most recent visit (this past Friday) they said they fixed the machine and then left, without testing the device. I started a load of laundry and again received an error message. I was referred to a plumber who came out today, and the plumber assured me the water is working right, and emphasized that *** is not a reputable company. Throughout this entire process, I've emailed their manager, *******, as well as their owner, *****************************, and their CFO, *******************************. ******* emailed me back once, demonstrating zero concern for my situation, and ***** and ****** completely ignored me. It is now September and my washing machine still does not work. I am now waiting on *** to give me another call to schedule another appointment (likely in three weeks, their norm), and I have zero confidence in their ability to actually complete the work I paid for.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: In two months the company did nothing. $100 was collected from me. This company was hired to fix a problem, they spent months stringing me along, never responded to emails, and I have nothing to show for it. I gave up on them and bought a new washing machine. I want my money back, pure and simple.If they have a problem with that, they can pay me the $100 and collect it back themselves from American Home Shield. If they have to wait for that, well, welcome to my world.

The specifics of my complaint are as follows:Failure to *********************** Despite repeated calls and follow-**** the company has failed to address the issue in a timely manner. I was initially advised that the estimate was with American Home Shield and once the paperwork was submitted then, I could replace my refrigerator. There was no estimate for a replacement provided by All Desert Appliances it has now been three weeks with no resolution in sight.Lack of Communication: There has been a consistent lack of communication between All Desert Appliance and American Home Shield. I have left multiple messages and emails inquiring about the status of my work order, however these have gone unanswered. The few times I managed to reach someone, I was given vague responses, empty promises, or one entity blamed the other for dropping the ball.Incompetency in Handling the Work Order: When a technician finally visited my home, they failed to properly diagnose the issue and recommended repairs as stated by American Home Shield instead of acknowledging the need for a replacement. This incompetency has prolonged the inconvenience and disrupted my daily life.Inconvenience and Disruption: The prolonged delay in replacing my refrigerator has caused significant disruption to my household. I'm so livid with this company. My home warranty sent the work order to this company to fix my refrigerator, and they have been terrible. They first came out on 06/03 and they said that some parts needed to be ordered to fix my refrigerator. I said no problem, once the part was in, they tried to come back out to fix the frige and I had called to confirm the appointment and ask for an ETA and they lady called me back from ADA repair and they the technician was in some sort of an accident and could fix my frige. She then reschedules me to the fallowing week for 06/20 they come and do some sort of repair but frige is still not fixed. Im livid that it is now 06/25 and they have not fixed my frige and have not schedule to come back to my home to have it fixed. I have almost been without a frige for a month and they could care less. I have been very patience in getting this resolved but I'm done. When I call the ADA Repair they tell they are waiting on some sort of service report to get somebody out. The repair on this refrigerator is complex and requires multiple steps to complete. We are currently waiting on additional parts. Once the part arrives, our dispatching team will reach out for scheduling. It is in our best interest to complete repairs as soon as possible, but some things are outside of our control such as part supplies. In May of 2024, ADA Repair dispatched a tech to my house to diagnose a 'over-the-range microwave venthood combination that stopped working. *** was hired by my home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. The tech stated that the transformer went bad, and that is why the appliance would shut off and sometimes trip the breaker while running. He stated that he would recommend replacing the transformer or the whole appliance. *** then submitted a false report to the home warranty company stating that the vent that opens automatically was stuck open due to other than normal wear and tear, and/or damage that we physically caused, and that moisture was able to get to the transformer because of said vent remaining open. This is not true. The automatic vent does in fact work, and was not stuck open, but due to the bad transformer, the microwave shuts off mid-cook, which makes it impossible for the automatic/electronic vent door to close. The bad transformer was the cause of the malfunction, and the vent door being open was the result. Not the other way around. The tech made an assumption on something he could not have possibly known, and his incorrect assumption has negatively affected me. I even explained to them that I have the video to prove operation of the vent door, but to no avail. I tried multiple times to speak with management, but they refuse to speak with customers, per call center employees. I even visited locations in person only to find out they don't have ANY legitimate locations in town. This company needs to be stopped.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Our home warranty company has sent another appliance repair company to our home to provide a second opinion. The new appliance repair company has stated and proven to the home warranty company that the statement provided by *** was false. As a result, we will be able to have our appliance repaired or replaced, despite ***'s incompetence. I request ******************* their false claim made to the home warranty company stating that we damaged the appliance, or that the defect was caused by other than normal use. I also request an apology from *** for the defamatory and libelous statement made to my home warranty company, as well as for the time I have lost arguing on the phone with the home warranty company, arguing on the phone with *** and trying to chase down a manager at **** and for having to take multiple days off of work to have multiple repairmen come to our home to look at the appliance. I am still tempted to *** for libel and negligence.

We have a warranty company. American home shield. My washer machine went out 2 months ago. Ada repair has came To my Home 4 times already this is an on going issue cause they do not want to replace my machine. Every time they come they say its non repairable They replaced the pump and the motherboard and repeatedly said its unusable non repairable. Its a game then they tell the warranty company its fixable and they need another work order and another 2 weeks until they can make an appointment. Then they come again and start with the unrepairable I have mold growing in my washer from this. Black mold I have children in my home. And they refuse to either fix it in a timely manner or just replace it. On top of my family being put out with the added expense of going to a laundromat. This is absurd We pay for a service and we expect it. You company *** is treating us **** animals. Its sad this is what you do to peopleBusiness Response
