I would like to file a complaint against Aztec Insurance for possible fraud and misleading of business practices. I sought advice to assist me in trying to obtain funding for *** program the government was offering to aid in people struggling with their business during the pandemic. I was told by a friend that Aztec Insurance could help me secure funding through the *** program as they had helped others to obtain *****s. I went and met with *******, and he guaranteed that after he processed my information, I would be eligible to receive up to ****** dollars and he was charging me a fee of ******* to submit this service. I was a little hesitant at this point because they were a insurance and tax agency and not a loan per say bank that handles claims like this. We eventually settled on ****** upfront fee but also again, guaranteed that I would secure funding for my business. That never happened. After calling them back when the funding deadline had past and still no word on my ***** I asked for a refund of my initial fee, as again, I was told that it was guaranteed I would secure funding. After several attempts to and call to Aztec Insurance, I finally got through to them and spoke to the owner, who brushed me off and said no refund was due. I began to question my decision to use them in the first place seeing they hold themselves out to public as being a insurance and tax agency. My final attempt was to seek remedy and visit them to no avail, the office is constantly closed and my persistent calling falling on deaf ears. This has been going on for over two years.I would like to have them investigated for false loan practices as I am not the only one who has experienced the treatment from this company. I will move forward with this and try to remedy a conclusion to this event and hopefully expose the unfair practices of Aztec Insurance Agency and its business operations. Thank you in advance
