During our six-night stay at the Flamingo for a wedding (with 30 guests), both the bride's AirPods and the groom's backpack, containing valuables (such as his laptop), were stolen from their room in the middle of the night. Security admitted to vulnerabilities in room access due to a lack of lock block usage. They also disclosed the absence of hallway and elevator cameras. Additional attempted break-ins were reported by other guests from the wedding party and no response was given by the Flamingo. The bride's family is understandably enraged by the intrusion while she was asleep. Fortunately, stolen items were near the door, indicating a quick exit by whoever broke in. The bridal party also witnessed a man trying to open several doors and again, no response from the Flamingo. The hotel's response to these incidents lacked urgency and empathy, showing a complete disregard for guest safety. Their failure to promptly investigate or implement security measures is appalling, disheartening and quite frankly it is disgusting. This negligence tarnishes the Flamingo's reputation and underscores the need for improved transparency and accountability regarding guest safety.
