Cabinets are splitting. Woodside said they would replace them, waited a year for the cabinets to come in and then woodside decided they didn't want to replace them.

    Hello,

My name is ********************************* and I represent Woodside Homes of Nevada.  I would like to address the complaint as put forward by ****************** earlier this month.

Upon investigation into the matter as described by ******************, I was able to gather the following information and document regarding the case at hand.  All documents to support the claims below are attached in this response.

****************** purchased a model home from one of our now closed communities in an "as-is" condition.  This meant that all the furniture and supplied appliances/countertops were sold and agreed upon in their condition upon purchase.  This agreement was signed by both Woodside Homes of Nevada and ******************.  After closing, it was noted by ****************** that the cabinet had issues.  This was brought forward to both Woodside Homes of Nevada and Interior Logic Group(supplier of the cabinets, ILG for short).  Though they agreed to purchase as-is, we agreed to provide support and help as a courtesy to *******************

During this courtesy, both Woodside Homes of Nevada and ILG explained to ****************** that a perfect match of cabinetry would be impossible to provide given change in colors and styles from the original selection.  We noted we would try our best to provide an approximate match.  Each time parts were ordered. ****************** rejected the product offering.  Management from both Woodside Homes of Nevada and ILG got involved with no agreed upon resolution from *******************  It was noted during this process that ****************** was contentious with all parties involved.  Eventually ILG refused to go to the home and do any further work due to hostile treatment from ****************** and him understanding that perfection was not a possibility.

Shortly after ILG's refusal to continue, ****************** filed a complaint with the Nevada ************************ the oversight body for homebuilding and contractors in the State of Nevada.  During the investigation, the Nevada *********************** ruled on behalf of Woodside Homes of Nevada and ILG.  All these documents and filing are attached in this complaint response.

We believe that Wodoside is not at fault or performed our duties in any bad faith to lose accreditation with the Better Business Bureau.  If any other facts or circumstances are needed for the investigation, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
-*********************************, Controller at Woodside Homes of Nevada

Bought this home in 2017 for $316K and have had cracking issues ever since from stucco to drywall. Have complained about the same crack in my living room at least 3 times to Woodside Homes. Each time *** made a complaint about it I get the same answer Cracks are normal as home settles, its written in the contract.Well a crack that continues to grow month by month is NOT normal! If ************ why is this crack now over 12 long? Its now the length of my living room and encrouching into my kitchen! Drywall does not come in sheets that large! A good builder wouldve staggered them
