  very poor customer service
  even if you do not violate their standards and guidelines, they can still take you off for "any reason". They have too much power and they wheeled it in an authoritarian manner which can really impact your income as a self-employed individual I would love to sue these guys for their arbitrary decision-making but it would be too much work and they know that so they act with impunity I will never do business with this group again sign up with them at your own risk but you've been warned

  Dear Better Business Bureau,
  I am writing to file a complaint against MassageFinder. In 2020, I created a profile on their website, but within a week, they removed my profile and banned me, citing non-compliance with their guidelines regarding the use of pictures. Despite sending multiple letters and faxes to address this issue, I received no response or resolution.
  Recently, I attempted to create a new profile, but it was again removed after just one day, with the explanation that their cookie system had banned me. I am unable to understand why this is happening, especially given that MassageFinder charges $70 monthly for their services but lacks customer support or effective communication channels.
  I feel this situation is discriminatory and unfair, as advertising is crucial for small businesses. I request your assistance in addressing this issue with MassageFinder and helping me understand the reasons behind their actions. Your support in facilitating communication with their customer service would be greatly appreciated.

  I booked a massage with an 'Emma' in Manahttan for my home in Long Island. To cover travel costs and hold the time, she requested a $210 deposit. She then cancelled and ignores my texts requesting that she return my deposit. A scammer.

  i was advertising on massagefinder for about a month... all my pictures and bio were reviewed and approved. made no changes there.. all l did was change my credit card info and upgrade my subscription for the next month. mind you the credit card is a business debit card.. with my legal name and which does have my studio address and not my home address. i have no idea if this triggered a fraud bot or if they compare info to the id you submit. Couple hour laters locked out i get an email saying my account is suspended and i cannot create a new one. like everyone else states there is no way to contact this company. i have a feeling i will get the same generic response but thought it worth a try. i am a licensed professional. just seems very strange. ive talked to others in the biz and done some research and hear similar stories that accounts were suspended for what should be acceptable pictures and for credit card info triggering an automatic suspension. they claim it is audited by humans but the fact remains.. if it is there would have been zero reasons to ban me. i like the site the clientele i did meet was nice. so i would just like my account reinstated or maybe someone look deeper into it to see if it was an error in their system. thank you.

We do not correspond with users who are administratively suspended for violations of our content guidelines or other reasons. She was clearly advised upon her first suspension that she was not permitted to advertise on our website again, but continually attempted to re-subscribe. Our Terms of Service give us the right to suspend any account at any time for any reason, and she agreed to these Terms when she subscribed.

  The website is run by thieves with no ethics, moral values or regrets, who never shown the slightest gratitude towards the providers who are literally doing all the work for the owners while paying extremely high fees. Zero support for providers. No customer support. No information about the business can be found online, just mixed addresses, confusing names and fake phone numbers. Just a big money scam orchestrated by a couple of socioPs. One minor mistake and you're on your own. Zero flexibility. As a matter of fact they can decide to shut down one's livelihood for no reason as they stated multiple times. Only an insecure sociop with a severe personality disorder would do that for no reasons, knowing it is a leading source of income for a lot of masseurs. Unfortunately the website is one of the longest running massage directories online, so it's still ranking at the top of google search, driving traffic away from other site. More websites with actually genuine core values, oriented towards provider's experience are catching up now. I really hope this website gets shut down in the near future and whoever runs it can be held accountable for all the wrongdoings.

  I am sure a simple call or email would have resolved the issue. It might have been just a typo in the bio or in the reviews, or some missing documents that failed to upload. But hey, there's no customer service so no chance to verify information in order to avoid misunderstandings on your end. Moreover, you can't even prove there has been any illegal activity, if anything happened at all. You have no evidence because the evidence doesn't exist. We know that. And by that I mean an email, and audio, a text, a video or a photo and so on, not a mispelled word in a bio. Nothing illegal happened, I always complied with policies and kept my profile clean and respectful. All of this could've been easily avoided. Your responses are always vague and similar, a sign that something illicit is actually happening on your end. Get a new script. Just say you're menta//y chall//ged and ban users randomly. You can't make an uninformed and arbitrary assumption and ban someone forever based on that decision. Are you actually out of your mind? Get help.

  I was advertising on Masseurfinder since 2015 and was a happy loyal customer. I had a great business with them, a lot of steady repeat customers. My page was one of the most viewed ones on the entire website and I brought a lot of new visitors and masseurs to the website.
  Everything was great until one day they kicked me out of the website without any explanations, covering that with simple “Your account on Masseurfinder.com has been suspended. Our agreements with you allow us to suspend an account at any time for any reason, including for violations of our guidelines and policies”. Why did they do that!? What was the reason? What guidelines and policies did I violated? I can only keep guessing. Customer service doesn’t exist, nobody answers and it is impossible to get in touch with them. I found out that I am one of many guys who lost business for absolutely no reason. I was following all the rules very carefully, I was the first one who started using professional photographers to make my page stand out from others, my text was carefully reviewed by a professional writer to make it look professional and clear!
  I would keep being loyal and keep advertising on the website, if they didn’t treat me the way they did.
  I still believe in good faith, so let my review and my case will be a great example that masseurfinder DOES care about people who bring them money. I hope that I will get the answer, explanations and my page back. Because even people who committed a crime, have a second chance.
