I want to file a formal complaint to Abbey Dental. They dont answer in the main offices; the manager I spoke at the beginning of my treatment is not there anymore, they cancel an appointment without telling me why. I have two more appointments to finished my crown; next one was for the implant and third one for the crown. I paid the first part of the treatment which was extraction of the tooth; it got complicated and it was a long time to recover and be normal again. Today I found out they cancel my appointment because they dont do single implants anymore; new manager **** from the office told me I had to go to another place for that. I signed a contract that I will pay every day I come for that part of the treatment as I did on the first part. Now, I have a home on my mouth and they wont do anything. They refuse to give me information of management and their contact information. This is ridiculous, absurd and inhuman.

This patient only had an extraction and bone graft but never paid for any implant. We no longer provide the procedure she wants but she still wants us to do it for her. Its like buying the two motorcycle tires from a business that sells motorcycles and cars and getting a price for a motorcycle that she said she wants to buy in the future. She never paid for the motorcycle when she bought the tires. Then shes coming back four months later and demanding that we sell her a motorcycle even though we no longer sell motorcycles.

I am rejecting this response because: They just want to make more money by selling more than two implants per person. YES, I have not paid the second part of the treatment - implant - because either I have canceled the appointments, or they gave me the excuse that the doctor was on vacations two times and was not i the office. When *** talked to me (very nice as she wanted big commission, as from any other client); I signed a contract for the procedure stating it was divided in three appointments, for three parts of the treatment, and I will pay each time individually. I set up the appointment with **************** for July 3,2023 at 8:30am, and when I called this week to get a letter for my job, a lady from the call center said it was canceled. NOBODY took the time NOR had the decency to contact me and explain what is going on. I do not know if that business is only a "fake" business doing something behind walls, as nobody every answer in this office, they always answer in the call center and when someone answer, they keep transferring clients to voicemails. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE BUSINESS, but there is something fishy, and the rudeness and disrespect are way above the top.

    Sincerely,

    *******************************

We definitely stand behind our work and we have done over ****** successful veneer patients. Its one of the most satisfying feelings when we improve peoples lives and confidence. Its rewarding to know that this patient has enjoyed her veneers for over 12 years since we improved her life. This patient unfortunately got caught lying. We never offered 25-year limited warranties 12 years ago. We only introduced selling our 25-year limited warranties six years ago. We would have gladly taken care of her even after 12 years but she would still be responsible.

I began the process of getting a replacement for 1 tooth by Abbey Dental. The process is going on to close to 1 year. I understand that I did cancel a few appointments, but the implant has been in for months, they have had me come back several times and have done nothing to further the process. The last time was yesterday and I just want my tooth and for this to be over. I paid in full, in advance and I can never speak to anyone or get anyone on the phone. I am elderly and feel I am being taken advantage of somehow as the lowest priority. Did they lose the replacement, was it ever made? They advertised $395 per implant and yet charge me $5700 and I am not ever complaining about the cost, just not getting what I paid for. Can someone please help me get my tooth?

*********, your daughter called us last week April 7th to confirm your above concern and the process of your treatment plan and estimated time of delivery and steps of treatment. I had explained to her the process for implants especially because you had extractions, bone grafting and implants that the process for healing does take time as we don't want to rush that process. Good news is you will have your final implant bridge delivered at your next appointment 5/2/23. Your daughter said that she now understands the process and she would have you contacting BBB to remove the complaint. Hope this helps you understand the process.

In November of 2021 I had a full mouth dental work at abbey Dental a full mouth snap on Dentures to be exact. What is supposed to a 8 months process to complete according to abbey Dental unfortunately for me up to these Days Im still not done. I paid close to $16000,00 in full up front for this work. Anyway after almost 1 year they finally got my snap on Dentures naturally I was excited only to find out that they dont fit right they were loose and all crooked was told by them not to worry its an easy fix they told me theyll send them back to their Lab to get them all straightened out come back in a week well get them ready for you. Well up to these day they still dont have them right stiil loose and crooked and very uncomfortable I mean really uncomfortable not to mention this is after 15 visits later it took a total of another 6 months they still dont them right. so last Wednesday March 29 was told by them to come in so they can try and straighten them out 1 more time as usual no improvement still very loose and crooked. So at this time I felt like I needed to say something I suggested that maybe they needed to make me a all new set of new ones wich they refused so I said that its obvious that whatever fixing and adjustments they were doing was not working so out of disappointment and frustration I told them that they tried everything already on 15 different appointments still no improvements.their response was that they cant do anything for me anymore they will just refund me $1300 and that I should go somewhere else I said $1300!! I paid almost $16000 for this work how come your only giving me back $1300 they said thats all they can give me. Is this right? Please please help I went and got an estimate from other Dental office the lowest quote that I got to fix everything was $12000.00 please help

The patient paid $3190.56 for his extractions bone graft and Sinus list. He paid $5839.61 for the Implants and the snap on dentures. It totally makes sense that another dental office wants to charge him much more because our fees are usually half the price of everyone else. He only paid for what he had done and even though we lost money trying to make him happy we still refunded him exactly what he paid for his snap on. He saved easily $10,000 dollars getting his treatment done with us. Why would he expect to pay less somewhere else when our prices are much lower? He should have realized that he will have to pay a lot more to have a snap on denture made somewhere else.
    Tell us why here...

The warranty clearly states that we do not fix failures of other dentist's implant work. This patients treatment plan also states the warranty is limited to future full replacement or future brand new implants and parts. Maintenance and repairs are excluded. This patient wants us to do repair his old dentists implant work did on him. We are not sure why this patient does not just go to his old dentist who did his implant work to begin with?

I discovered after a prolonged illness that many of my teeth needed filled or pulled. The option of snap on dentures was presented to me. I went to Abbey Dental for a consultation. During that visit, xrays were taken and the option for the snap on dentures was decided upon. Now looking back, I've discovered that I had a great deal of bone loss in my jaw and the location of the anchors placed was less than ideal. Since getting my snap in dentures, I've had 4 sets that were required to be made due to the prior dentures failing. The snaps come out or the denture itself cracks severely. Since the breakdown of my most recent set of dentures, I am currently without any teeth and left with metal poles in my mouth. I did return to Abbey Dental and was informed that the only thing they could do this time was make a new set of dentures if I paid them $2,100.I knew there was an issue when my very first set of dentures broke shortly after I received them but I had paid them in full and couldn't afford to go anywhere else.I just want Abbey Dental to repair or replace the dentures so I am able to eat! I'm not sure what to do. I sincerely feel like they know i will have to find a way to pay the 2k or starve. Its dental extortion- if that's even a thing. Please help.

If anyone is reading this, this patient wants our company to keep making her new snap-on dentures for free every time she breaks them. Its now been five years and she was welcome to purchase new ones at a much reduced fee. Unfortunately, no office will do free work for her and no one should expect free snap-on dentures after using them for five years.

August 11, 2021 I consulted Abbey Dental about a broken crown and tooth as a result of biting a *********. They informed me that the tooth was too far gone and my ************ were a bridge or an implant. There was a considerable difference in the price and I chose the bridge. After removing the tooth and it's root, placing two crowns of adjacent teeth I was given a temporary bridge while a perminent bridge was being produced. After one week with the temporary bridge I became very unhappy with that set up and requested an implant instead of the bridge. Of course this was going to cost a lot more money but I agreed to bite the bullet and proceed with the implant. The dentist did a bone graft for the tooth implant and I waited 4 months for that to heal. When the bone graft healed the dentist placed the implant into the bone and I had to wait another 4 months for the implant to heal. When the time came for my perminent tooth, I was told that the implant was infected and I would have to start all over with new bone graft. This is now July of 2022 and I have paid them $4,861.63 which was to be the complete price of the implant. I was upset with the news of having to start all over again but felt I had no choice. The dentist did the bone graft again and again I waited another 4 months for the graft to heal. November 14, 2022 I was told that the bone graft did not work and my only option was a bridge. The cost of the bridge was the credit amount that was on my account of $1414.53 plus another $336.24. I have since consoled an Oral Surgeon for the bone graft and want to go this route rather than the bridge. In the interum I have been trying to get Abbey Dental to refund my credit balance of $1414.53 to help pay for the Oral Surgeon and I have been getting nothing but the run around. I have made serveral phone calls and personal visits to the facility only to be given one excuse after another as to why the refund has not been given.

I don't think I should have to make up the difference.  Abby ********************** dropped the ball not me. They had no idea that I was 6 months late getting my permanent Dentures till they set me down in the chair.  I want my Dentures fix and fix right.  I don't think I should have to pick up the slack. Not Abby **********************.  Dentist told me to get permanent Dentures when I got to *******.  Abby ********************** had no idea they never made a appointment for me and I was coming in to see what they could do with adjusting.  I had no idea what to do.  Dentures that I have are breaking and never was told to come back to Vegas to get permanent Dentures.    A lot of bad reviews about Abby **********************.    This  doest surprise me. Gonna cost a lot more to get my permanent Dentures here where I'm at.     *********************;

It was clearly explained in your treatment plan that you signed that:   The temporary healing denture, also known as the immediate denture, is by definition a non-exact appliance, which replaces teeth onthe same day of ex1ractions. Since I still have teeth in my mouth, the temporary healing denture will be made oversized in order to make room for the swollengums after the ex1ractions and for the ease of initial placement. I canexpect torely ondenture paste to help keep my denture in place and help me trainmyself with this denture. I should expectadjustments for sorespots that *** occur duringthehealing process. After my extractions my bone and gums under the denturewill be expectedto shrink between10 to 25%. The maximum amount of bone and gum shrinkage will happen withinthe first 6 (six) months. After most of the initial bone and gum shrinkage has occurred there will be the need for a new more precise sized denture in 6 (six) months.Which you signed saying you agree to the treatment. It says that you should have come back in 6 months and not in one year. We will refund you everything for your final denture and warranty because you moved to ******* but our office is still in *********?  We would normally accommodate you but you now living out of state but you are blaming our office for not being convenient for you anymore?

On 9/8/22, I had an appointment with Abbey Dental for ten upper veneers; they had selected me for a promotion, and I was to pay $2500 for upper or bottom, my choice. I got to the appointment they informed me they were only doing eight veneers. While speaking with ******** or ******** and Dr. ******** I was advised that anesthesia was not needed; the worst part was the numbing, and I could hold her hand, so they refunded me for the anesthesia. We start the process, and Dr. ******* shaves down my teeth and leaves the room; at this time, ********/******** starts packing my gums. As she packed my gums five to six minutes into the procedure, I informed her it was burning, and I felt pain! She called Dr. ******* back in, who took the same uncovered needle and proceeded to re-numb without looking into my mouth. He then said that he normally only uses ten of these on a patient, but he has used 14 in me. He waited a few minutes and left the room; **** proceeded to pack my gums. At this point, Im crying, and my mouth is on fire! I told her I still felt the burning and pain, so she called the Dr back into the room. Upon him entering the room, I broke down crying, requesting him not to numb me anymore as he stated he had used 14 vials on me already! I then requested she pull the cords from my gums as the numbing was not working, and I couldnt bare the pain. He asked if I wanted to proceed on another day. I replied you have shaved my teeth! **** then stats she needed to finish, so against my will, he numbed me using three more vials. She proceeded, and we finished. Im sitting in the office my lip starts to swell, so she gave me two IBUs with water. Dr. ******* comes back in with an RX for antibiotics and Motrin 800mg. I leave the office I woke up on 9/9/22 with my face swollen; I reached out Dr no help ended up with cellulitis, PICC line IV antibiotics, neuropathy treatment in my lip, and still no help from Abby ********************** but to my blame, my body; it was an allergic reaction.

I went in to get work done and used care credit and I don't do anything that includes interest rates and they all have different promotions for different lengths of time. I will not do it unless I can pay before the interest kicks in. The guy that did the promotion told me that he could get me 1,2 or 3 years without interest. Well I believed him and didn't check my statements till a few months later and found out that they were charging me interest. I called and never got a call back so I went in and a lady informed me that he no longer works there and they only do a 6 months no interest and basically told me to shove it. If I would have known that I would have just got the teeth pulled like I have every other time. So they committed fraud.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/14/2022

********************** came to Abbey Dental on March 11th, 2022 and signed a treatment plan for his dental work totaling $3,151.  ********************** paid the required $1000 deposit on his credit card at that time.  ********************** paid the remaining amount owed on Care Credit on April 8th, 2022.   The care credit document clearly states that interest will be charged on promotional purchase from the purchase date until paid in full.  All of Mr. ********** treatment has been completed and no refund of any kind is owed. No one told him that there was no interest. We have been assisting patients with Care Credit for over 23 years and never had this problem with a patient.

    Sincerely,

    Abbey Dental
