    Business Name: Purrfect Auto Service #*** Location: ****************************************************** Date of Service: June 2, 2025 Invoice #: ***** Amount Paid: $3,830.24 Complaint:I brought my vehicle to Purrfect Auto Service #*** on June 2, 2025, and was charged over $3,800 for repairs. Shortly after picking up my car, I began experiencing serious transmission issues that were not present before. Additionally, my cars door glass was broken during the time it was in their possession.I contacted the shop multiple times to address both issues and request a refund or compensation, but was met with unprofessional behavior. I was hung up on, spoken to disrespectfully, and denied any form of accountability. I then visited in person and asked for their business insurance information so I could file a damage claim for the broken glass. They refused to provide it and continued denying responsibility.I am requesting a partial refund of $2,429.98 for the mechanical issues that remain unresolved, as well as reimbursement or insurance information to address the broken glass. If this is not resolved, I will be moving forward with a credit card chargeback, complaint to the ********************************, and a small claims case.This business has demonstrated a complete lack of customer ********************** and accountability, and Im filing this BBB complaint both to seek resolution and to warn others.

    This was one of the worst auto service experiences I've ever had. First, they made me pre-pay before any services were even started a huge red flag I shouldve taken more seriously.I came in for an oil change and to have front brake pads and rotors replaced. They ordered the parts from ********, but either ******** brought the wrong parts or the shop ordered the wrong ones whichever way it went, the bottom line is they couldnt even do the job. I ended up waiting over an hour for absolutely nothing.When I asked for a refund, they told me they couldnt refund me directly and that I had to email the company listed on the receipt instead. What kind of business takes your money upfront, cant do the work, then passes the **** when its time to fix their mistake?Thankfully, *** already filed a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back.Dont waste your time, money, or patience here. Totally unprofessional, unorganized, and unreliable. Go somewhere that knows what theyre doing.Shady af!

    My Name is ******* and I love car is a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle copilot with an L72 427 big block and I took it to get it rebuilt he charged me ************************************ couldnt be rebuilt so the switched with a 350 sbc that they claimed was rebuilt and connected it to my th400 ****** and the left header wasnt damaged and not connected to the engine broke my wind shield and my mirror and towed it back to my house. I as them where my engine he said that it was used as a core but no where in the contract say that. He agreed to give me back myengine but left it at Americano rebuilt engines and I had gone there and the guy showed me my engine but said couldnt give it to me cuz he didnt negotiate with me. So I asked how much for the job you were supposed to her told 200 and I offered250 just to get my engine back. Later they told my that my crank was broken but the guy at America rebuilt engines tild me he had 2 cranks for my car worth ******************************************************************************** my engine back

    On 5/21/24 I brought my car in for an oil change and was advised of leaking oil pan, passenger side axle leaking, axle was repaired. The oil pan gasket on 6/15/24. These repairs I would imagine require detail inspection of the undercarriage of my car and the different components that would possibly contribute to the first diagnosing the Passenger Axle and Oil Pan leaks, and there was no mention of transmission seal leaks or hoses or belts needing replacement or rack and pinion. On 11/11/2024 thought my oil pan was still leaking I was told that it was the transmission seals. I was originally quoted at $389 then $1000 once they were made aware that I was approved for that amount, and again no mention of other major repair needed. On 11/23/2024 I got quote for the the actuator door and intake manifold. Could not afford repair so I declined service, days later liquid began dripping on my foot returned and advised was told the rack and pinion was leaking. got family to help finance repair for rack and pinion took all day only to be told car cannot be finished was confirming this will correct leak inside of car ***** looked shock as if I did not tell him that already. I was told they will check it out and cover repair, only to be told they cannot cover it because its normally $3750 evaporator core job but they can do it for $1500, having no available resources they stated they will complete the repair and if I want the evaporator core under warranty I will need to pay them $1000. Today 12/23/24 my tire disconnected from my car. I believe my car is intentionally being misdiagnosed, and incorrectly repaired in order to force me to continue repairs I believe that because I did not pay for the evaporator core that they said they would cover then changed their mind after having my car for 3 days hostage under the guise that they are repairing the issue they intentionally did not repair my steering correctly in hopes to cause more damage or possibly an accident or loss of life

    I was scammed by a mechanic named ****. They fired him and he kept talking to me. He also threatened me physically etc. He was only supposed to be doing minor work. He quoted me on a job for 3200 I told him I didn't have the money and couldn't do it. He said they already started the work and that I had to pay. Now I'm dealing with the district manager ***** to the same result. Not giving straight answers no timeliness to complettion. Everytime i talk to someone at the shop its a 'new manager'. Their showing me invoices from the machine shop they supposedly sent my engine off to. My car has been at this shop for 6 months now.

    I paid $1,6 ***** when I took the car there I told him that I had oil in my spark plugs and that the car wasn't starting they said it was the valve seals and the distributor cap so they changed them and then they call me back a few days later talking about my ECM what's burnt and they needed to replace it I told him that I wasn't going to have the money until 2 weeks later I paid $713 the first time and waited two weeks later until I got paid again and then I paid it and the *** told me wait until 3 hours so they can see that t the job that they did was correct they call me at 10:00 in the morning after I had went early at 8:00 in the morning to pay the rest of it off when I came back at 10:00 when they called me they said that it was a fuel pump problem so I went and picked it up and the *** said no it was okay already and it was good to go as soon as I left the shop I came towards my home and the car shut off turn off. After that I took it back and the *** said that he did his job at least the car started and it works but what good does it do if the car starts and then from one light to the next light it wants to turn off I didn't pay $1,600 and I'm behind on my rent for them to give me my car the way it is I just want my car to run so I can take it to work and come home whenever I need

    Went to purrfect Auto#*** on 01/03/2024 for auto an body repair. I was informed by one guy that do Auto body but once they had possession of my car another guy comes an say they don't do Auto body work an the guy who told me that works at a different location he's no longer their an they supposedly started work on my car..they repaired one item on my car just to make it drivable an never replaced any of the parts I was charged for I informed them that my parts or marked so if their not changed I will know I brung the car back they promise to change the parts an fix the other problems they didn't repair..I get the car back thre car was still making the same rattling noise..I returned the cat again showed them the markings on the parts an let them know they wasn't change they held my vehicle for 2 days only to tell me they need approval an the owner on vacation I return a week later leave my car again come back to get it it's in the same non fix postion still making rattling noise I returned the car again once again the owner was on vacation I come back 2 weeks later leave the car go back car still not repaired they have to wait on corporate approval told to come back I come back 2 days later leave my car come back car not repaired we have to order the parts we was waiting on corporal approval now I'm asking why is everything so complicated when supposedly I have a warranty but I didn't have a warranty because the parts was never replaced like the previous time I went before the auto repair gets frustrated because I'm complaining an asking for a refund an tells me their not gonna repair my car. Everytime I went they promise they would give me my old parts to show they were replaced an a copy of the receipt to show proof of purchase an they never did went to that shop over 6/8 times since the initial repair in January an my car was never repaired they repair one thing which was 5% of the problem
