    I am not liable for this debt with sentury recovery and/ villas at desert pointe. I do not have a contract with sentury recovery and/ villas at desert pointe. They did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.

    I lived in this complex in 2021, they paid for a full background check, renters history and credit. We passed then and should have passed now. We recently applied again because we moved back to this area. **** first told us that have evictions on our names in ***** within the last year. (Not possible because we weren't even in ** for the entire year in 2023) so we figured it's a fault in linking identifiers (like my middle name or dob) nope, boy were we wrong. So after we get the court papers (that the clerk forgot to stamp) we turn this in not knowing they needed a stamp, and didn't receive a call back so we figured it was good. Then today I call and get told that I have roughly 9 felonies on my name and a few arrest warrants (I've never had any ticket, done anything criminal, or hurt a person causing a legal case) so none of these are mine. They say my husband has 30+ felonies. (Now we have some common names, like in one city you could probably find 10 people with the same last and first name as us) So we use our full names First middle and last plus our dob and ssn. So we inform them they need to run our full names. Lexi has the audacity to tell me their procedure to applications is to look up only the first and last name on the civil court system. Which links every person with name to me. I explained that there's no way I could work for a state funded facility and keep my CNA and my degree with felony charges on my name. She agrees but says this is how they do the checks & according to her things changed for the better. What ever the h*** that means. So if you have a common name do not live here, they will tell you every person with your name that isn't you is you and will deny you solely on that and they keep all your money, I can see keeping the $55 app fee. What the h*** is wrong with this company? Always smells like animal f**** and pee, Trash cans always full and smelling, Stray cats everywhere, Their perks are outdated, runs down and broken

    First Document provides proof of them withholding a $200 deposit holding fee. This was not a $200 apartment listing holding fee like they say it is. They've even stated on the document that I have a lease with them now from 4/24-5/25. 

     

    Second Document provides letter and reason for denying us the room.

    I have resided at this property since 3/17/2019 and just moved out as of 4/15/2023. I returned keys on 4/17/23 since the property is not open on Sundays . I left nothing in the apartment and videotaped the unit . I received a bill on 4/17/23 with charges that should not be on there . The carpet is normal wear and tear for the years I have been there and management never cleaned the carpet . They are charging for blinds which when I originally moved in I initialed my move in paper with the things that were not fixed and that was with the first management. ******** has been under 5 new management since I have lived there . Water is always off and there is no air running through the halls like the new units . Elevators not working , mailboxes continually being broken into and no security like they claim. There has been issues with management and I knew they would try to keep my deposit of $750 because of me knowing my tenant rights and informing them of things I would do or the news I would go to or legal aide . That is why I recorded the apartment on 4/15/23 when I left the property. I moved out because they threatened to raise my rent and they said they were raising it anyways rather if I renewed a lease or stayed month to month . I paid $492.50 on march 31st, 2023 for aprils rent till 4/15/23. They stated I had to put in a 30 day even though I was month to month so I did on 3/16/23. This property are slum lords . Either there is no hot water or water at all. Management only caters to Hispanics not anyone else . They have all these cameras up but they are non working . I will inform other people to not live at this property. They need serious remodeling and people who actually have customer service and love working with people . My next thing to do is go to the news with this matter . I will not pay fees I do not owe . I am willing to pay for certain things of the apartment but not some of those things because that is not true . ******** and ****** work for Westland
