This company markets health products (supplements) and advertises quality and safe handling. I ordered a 1kg package of Beta Alanine on ****** from this company. I have ordered Beta Alanine in the past from more reputable companies such as Vitamin Shoppe and the product was odorless.Upon opening the package of Beta Alanine from Bulk Supplements I was hit with the strong smell of ammonia. Research shows that the amino acid degrades when exposed to heat or humidity. Now, current weather aside, if the product was stored in a proper environment during manufacturing and sealed properly, it would not have this smell. After reading multiple reviews of this product on ******, it is evident that this is a common complaint and many people have been poisoned by this ********** avoid further damage to the public caused by this product, I think an investigation is warranted.Business Response

This is within normal characteristics for this product.

BulkSupplements.com misled me on shipping timelines during checkout. I paid for *** Next Day Air shipping, but the order was not delivered until several days later. I refused the shipment and returned it unopened, as I no longer needed the product due to the delay.Despite this, they only issued a partial refund and withheld the full shipping cost. Their customer service was dismissive and avoided accountability. I had to escalate to my credit card company to receive the full amount back. Ship date of the order was 5/15/25 received order and the lions mane POWDER was hard as a rock. Had to be broken to get out of the package. Sent an email to complain about this and they sent a reply saying to break it up with a spoon or blender. It not acceptable to come like this. Its offered as a powder it should come as a powder. They said i can ship it back at my expense and i also feel thats unacceptable. This is a bad product and should be refunded. I contacted Bulk Supplements after I received my order of Ascorbic Acid/ Vitamin C powder. I have ordered from them over many years in the past and I told them that this product is not vitamin c and it suds up like dish soap and doesn't dissolve in water as it has over the last 10 years when using. I ordered their product in the past from ****** and when it sudded up, I contacted bulk supplements, and they said it should not do that, and ****** must have stored the product wrong, and it could have gone bad. I contacted ****** and received a refund. I am now having the same issue with a product I ordered directly from them, and they are now telling me that changes in characteristics are common based on the supplier of the product. Anyone who knows vitamin c, knows that it should never sud up and it should dissolve. If things have changed and that is the case, that's fine. But I should not be forced to use or keep a product that I don't feel is safe for consumption. That's my right and my choice. I was told that I have to pay for the shipping back to them and I would only receive a "partial" refund. I want my money back, because I am unable to use the "full product".Business Response

After receiving notification of a lost delivery, I attempted to contact the company- twice. All I received was an answering machine. I left a message both times with my information, request, and call back number. To date, I have still not received any contact or resolution regarding my lost shipment. have always had issues with this companies customer service having to email 3, 4, 5 times before finally getting a response and i am sick and tired of the lack of customer service . I had about 5 subscriptions for supplements. The company always sends an email informing you that a subscription is being processed allowing time to modify if necessary. However i had an expensive order charged without warning. I emailed them and told them to cancel bc i was not ready for the order. They acknowledged my request and informed me that they would update my order. The following day the order was shipped. I emailed them again and informed them to cancel the order and reimburse me the cost. They wrote back and told me that since it shipped they could not cancel. I immediately reminded them that they said they canceled the order as I requested and it is not my problem that it was still shipped. I told them to fix the problem or i would be canceling all my subscriptions. I have not heard back from them again. This company has terrible service and this is just the cherry on top. On 9/13/24, you placed a subscription order for 5 kg of Hydrolyzed Whey Protein on a recurring subscription for every 2 months. This recurring subscription has recharged every 2 months per your agreement when placing the subscription order. An email notification is sent 2 days prior to the subscription renewing. When an order is placed in the system, our fulfillment team immediately starts fulfilling those orders. Our cancellation policy on our website states that we do not guarantee your order can be cancelled after it is placed. As an exception I have emailed over a pre-paid return label for you to ship the items you received back to our facility for a refund. Once the material is returned, a refund will be issued in full. We have as well cancelled your subscription to prevent any future charges. We recommend placing one time orders to prevent this issue in the future.

I purchased their magnesium malate from ****** on Feb 24, 2025 for $25.96. I proceeded to mix an electrolyte powder in appropriate proportions to help with electrolyte balance for exercise. Headaches, muscle cramps, and stomach upset occurred both times I consumed the product (a relatively small fraction of the salt mixture was the magnesium malate powder). I discovered on the back label that the malate is cut with ***************. *************** is NOT a dietary supplement, it is a laxative. The clear labeling on the front which explicitly calls out the TYPE of magnesium that it contains (It obviously implies a pure compound/product in this case, NOT a mixture) while omitting the other type is clear dishonest marketing. The back ingredients label is excessively small as well and proportions of each salt are not listed either. They also do not mention oxide anywhere in the product description (looks like this was recently changed by my request to ****** but it still only mentioned once down below in the product ingredients description), only in the photo of the ingredients label. There are many other people with recent 1-star reviews pointing out this relatively recent bait and switch (it used to not contain oxide). This is a potentially dangerous filler in their supplements and they've recently started cutting other salts with oxides as well.Business Response

The supplier does not "add" *************** as it is the starting source of the material itself. Based on the supplier's flow chart, there is left over unreacted *************** content that is left over in the finished product, which is why we list it under "other ingredients". An exact percentage is not available.All forms of Magnesium supplements will promote bowel movements. This is common with all forms of Magnesium supplements which can easily be found and researched on ******. Magnesium malate may used to help promote regular bowel movements. It can act as a laxative, drawing water into your intestines and stimulating the movement of food through your digestive tract.

Placed an order about a month ago. Never received any order confirmation, shipping information, and the product never showed up however, I was charged on my account.I repeatedly tried to get a hold of anyone at this company to no avail. Phone number listed was disconnected. Emails are not answered. Seems like a fraudulent website. I did dispute the charge with my credit card company, but as a forewarning to any future customers, buyer beware. Communication was made back and forth with the customer on 2/7/25-2/8/25. ******************** complaint was filed on 2/11 claiming no response from CS yet a trail response was supplied as proof. I have attached the *** of the email communication explaining the issues with the customer's shipment. No further response was made from the customer after a response was submitted on 2/8/25 @ 8:43 am. The customer was refunded for the item per our return policy as the order was returned due to the item not being picked up at their local post office (I have as well attached a photo showing that the item was made available for pick up). The customer has as well issued a chargeback with their bank for this order. We are unable to issue additional refunds on the order when a chargeback is in place with the bank until the claim is settled. Overall this customer has already received a resolution per our return shipping policy.

I made an order December 10th/2024. My order was returned by the shipper December 13th/2024 (3 days later). No one gave me any notice. 3.5 weeks go by and I see that my shipment is still in the same place. I sent them an email and they told me it was returned by the shipper. So I cancelled my order since after 6 weeks they wont refund your order according to their policy. Now it is February 7th and I still haven't received my refund of $121.48. I am being told now i wont receive my refund for between 1-6 months. I should have gotten a refund as soon as the shipper returned the order. As well I should have been notified.Business Response
