      I totally regret I signed up & paid $2500 for It's Just Lunch dating site in November 2023. I still (6 month) did not get any date. They sent 65 year old men's picture for the date, although I put ***** y.o. That old men is not even close to my taste I described to them. I really hoped for that much money they would do good job. They promised that they would hand pick a match specifically for me. It is definitely Scam! I wish I saw all these complains before I signed up. Why IJL still exists and prospering with lies. Why nobody can do anything to shutdown their dishonest company? IJL Team, keep in mind, ***** will definitely get you all whoever involved in this fraud dating site. Karma will get you all your family, kids for 7 generation! Burn in the **** for all your lies, dishonesty and terrible customer service!!! On behalf of millions of unsatisfied clients.

      IJL regrets to learn you have not enjoyed your experience thus far as this is not the norm. Your account was just returned to active status as you were placed on hold for non-response when your matchmaker reached out with your next date. Your first two dates you declined, and your matchmake contacted you on Friday with your next date. We look forward to hearing more from you once your date is scheduled and attended. Thanks~!

      Hi,

      I would like to thank BBB team for their great impact on IJL service. 

      I would like to let you know that after my complaint about IJL, they  contacted me right away and I had my first date with 59 years old man. My preference is 52-56. I paid IJL $2400 for 12 dates within 12 month, but I got 1 date within 6 month.

      Hopefully IJL will continue to do their job to satisfy their clients. 

       I will keep you updated every month to show how good IJL is doing their job.

      I signed up with Its Just Lunch in September 2023 and due to services not being provided, I terminated my contract, both verbally and in writing within 30 days. I was told, through much back and forth on email, that I need to dispute the charge through my credit company--which I did. My credit card company found in my favor in November 2023 and did not hold me responsible for the payment. Its Just Lunch had the audacity to send me an email March 2024, stating that my credit card found me responsible for the charge, which is factually incorrect, and then stated they would be setting me up on dates. Again, I told them not to contact me, that the contact was harassing and to please have their lawyer contact me. They again completely disregarded my written demands and then said they were putting my membership on hold.

      IJL regrets to learn the consumer has not enjoyed her experience. Her agreement doesnt have a termination clause with a 30 day window. The consumer can terminate her relationship, which she has requested,and we have placed her account on hold and will not contact her further. Her membership is not eligible for a refund as IJL has and can continue to provide the services as outlined in the membership agreement. The consumer at this juncture has chosen not to accept the services and forfeit all remaining dates on her membership. Thank you.

      I have worked with this company for approximately a month and have not received the services that they promised its been one disappointing interaction after another, and I would like my money back

      IJL regrets to learn you are not enjoying your membership as this is not the norm. IJL has provided you dates and services thus far. You joined IJL 1/23/24 for a 12 month, 12 date membership, whichever comes last. You were welcomed by your Executive Matchmaker on 1/26/24, after missing your initially scheduled welcome call on 1/24/24. On 1/30/24 you were presented your first date ****, however, he declined the opportunity to meet you, which you were notified of on 1/31/24. Our team immediately went back into matching and presented your next date on 2/6/24, ****. You accepted to meet **** and he accepted to meet you, and a corresponding date was scheduled for 2/13/24 at 12pm. **** unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute, and provided new times to meet with you, and the date was scheduled for 2/22. **** was not at the date on the 22nd, after confirming with our team, which is unfortunate and absolutely not the norm. The consumers matchmaker is working with **** to determine what happened and we are hard at work on her next date. We look forward to scheduling her next IJL date.

      IJL have failed to provide a service to me despite my attempts to be open to their suggestions. I do not believe they have the ability provide the service they advertise despite me being open to 4 attempts to provide their services for a successful dating match. I want my money back according to the contract Im entitled to at this time.

      IJL has provided the services to the consumer as outlined in the membership agreement and are hard at work on her next date. Unfortunately, her first few matches declined to meet her as they were searching for something else in match search, however, that doesnt mean we are stopping there! We understand it is frustrating and do apologize for any upsettedness these declines may have caused; this is still dating. We look forward to talking to the consumer soon and sharing the details of her next date.

      They did great job of selling their services, I signed up spending $4,000 and their delivery has been nothing short of despicable. I have had 2 dates in 2 years through this service while they guarantee you 12, and the people they match you up with do not come close to your requirements and then they try to upsell their packages. Absolutely horrible company, horrible service and horrible people! How a company like this can stay in business is beyond logic.

      IJL has provided the services in full to the consumer and her membership has since expired. *** coordinated three dates for her with gentlemen that were provided to her that she accepted to meet and she declined to meet the remaining 9 that were presented to her. Whether accepted or declined, anyone IJL presents to the consumer is one of their guaranteed dates. We wish the consumer the best on her dating journey.

      This company lied about the availability of matches in my area that met my criteria. They have yet to provide me with a reliable date or service, and I believe they were pulling a bait-and-switch with the available dates they initially showed me. The customer service and follow-up is poor. I called for help with this issue several days ago and have received no responses. People need to be warned about this service and the fact that it is a scam. I can provide additional evidence of the bait-and-switch as needed. Please let me know.

      IJL regrets to learn the consumer is not enjoying her experience. We have not lied in any way to the consumer about our services and disagree with her statements. The consumer has a 12 month, 12 date membership,which is one date per month. She joined in December and her first date was scheduled for January 3rd with *******. Her next date was scheduled February 12th, however, we unfortunately had to cancel the date due to her match becoming unavailable. We are currently in the search and select process for her next date and look forward to speaking with her soon. Thank you!

      I hired Its just lunch for their matchmaking services. Paid for their services and did not hear back. It wasnt until a month with no contact that they called me stating they forgot to send me matches. I believe they falsely made me believe there was a dating pool in my area. They are not willing to refund me full or partial money based on their lies and lack of customer service.

      First off, I was told that they had several matches in my area. That wasnt true. I didnt go on my first date until month later. Everyone they matched me with didnt match my criteria. My matchmaker never got back to me, it wasnt until I called and left a general message is when he FINALLY got back to me and claimed he messaged me. But he didnt even have the proof to show that he messaged. I was so sick of the dates they were sending me on which with people that one- had a boyfriend already, two-lived so far away and the other clearly only wanted one thing. I thought these types of men were supposed to be screened. After getting sick of them not meeting the ***** I ended up finding someone on my own, I requested to transfer my membership to someone else (which my matchmaker said they would) to be denied 3 weeks later. No explanation. I also requested a refund since they didnt do what they were supposed to do. Nothing. Stay away from this company!

She requested to transfer her membership to a 3rd party, however, the membership agreement she executed spells out that the agreement is nontransferable and she is not eligible for a refund for meeting someone outside of the service. We wish her the best in her new relationship and much happiness in the future.

      They still haven't refunded me my money.  They don't have anyone to set me up with, and are just playing games...it's been months.  First "alleged date"  never showed up, per scheduled date.   

      2nd "alleged date"   became " unavailable" before date occured.

      3rd "alleged date" became "unavailable before date occured.

      They just don't have sufficient matches in this small market, in my age group (men and women in their 50s/60s.   I discussed this with them, prior to payment and they insisted they had LOTS of potential matches, and that dates would be occuring AT LEAST 1x monthly.   They don't have that.   I just want a refund.  The fact they can charge $3400.00 for doing absolutely nothing, is ridiculous.

      ******* set me up with a racist. She knew he did not date African Americans and she matched us anyway without him even seeing my picture. This was neglect and I felt threatened when I met the man. After speaking to a supervisor, they told me I could only get a full refund if I was threatened physically or verbally in some way. The white male supervisor doesnt understand the feeling of being threatened in this way. I explained that to him. He said he could only give me a partial refund and the date in question would count against me. This organization is BS!

      IJL does not service the ******** area. I started the contract in Feb 2023, they found 2 matches as of October 2023, so 2 people in 7 months. The second match did not show up at the time IJL scheduled and there was no notification of the cancelaltion, also no aknowledgement from the business after the fact. My account gets put on hold every week without my consent and there is no response from the business when i dispute the hold. Basically there has been no service isince the beginning of their contract which is now at 7 months.

      In response to the consumers complaint, IJL does service the ******** area, it is clearly outlined in her membership agreement and on our website. IJL regrets to learn the consumer is not enjoying her experience,however, IJL has provided the services as outlined in the membership agreement the consumer accepted and executed upon becoming an IJL client. The consumer to date has had 4 dates that IJL has provided. She has 8 remaining and we are working on her next date. Her membership is for whatever comes last not to exceed 36 months so we have time to work with the consumer and fine tune the matching process. We look forward to her next date. Thank you!
